ooohhh that pisses me the **** off. I got the DB beat by MILES.. and the guy can swat it from anywhere on the field.

 

If I could play like the CB's in this game, I'd just quit the NFL, don a red cape and fly off buildings saving people. I knew they'd still have issues when you can see major clipping by players on their demo vids. It's a shame how bad it's gotten. And I still miss that feature in Madden 98 where you can press the tackle button after a play and get an unnecessary roughness call.

 

The other thing that REALLY pisses me off... In Superstar mode, I'm a WR (speedster). My QB Ben Rothlisberger CAN NOT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD throw anything but a bullet. Making it impossible to jump for the ball in a deep situation and also making every ball an INT magnet. I wish there was a way to call for a lob instead of a damn dart with EVERY throw.

 

That reminds me... why does every team have the exact same plays? Is it too much work to actually get a basic sense of which team runs which offense and implement a basic playbook based on that offense?

 

You guys are depressing me in terms of how good this game is.

it might just be me, but i love the game. if anyone wants a game later tonight at like 1 or midnight let me know..i have to play on my moms bf gamertag but it doesn't matter

 

it's not just you... I'm sure a lot of people will love it. Every year, when the game comes out... It's "The Madden that finally fixes last year's problems" and "The first next-gen Madden that you must own"... Cut scene to 3 months later and you realize under it's new glitz (no arguing that it is pretty) it's the same old crap.

 

I honestly enjoy Madden '06 for the PS2 more than any other Madden.

 

Yes sir its great previewing games before you buy. The only games I buy (now that I use gamefly) are must haves/games I must support. Such as MGS4, GTAIV, Little Big Planet, etc.

Anyway with all of the complaining going on I found this article on gamedaily (which I usually ignore) detailing some problems with the game and some of the complaints on here made it.

miami wr's are so slooow in this game

 

I cut Kircus and released Glenn for the Cowboys and picked up Glenn.

I love how Moses, Soliai, Hillard, and Boomer are FA.

 

I would really love to meet whoever is in charge of accurately checking the rosters--if anyone.

 

they dont teleport in ncaa, i dont ****ing get it. i've dedicated a few games to just running and watching replay and experimenting. one play, ronnie brown hits a huge hole, gets 2 yards past the d-line, then does an inexplicable stutter in place, while the dt does a fast 180, and then attaches himself onto ronnies back, as if drawn by a giant magnet.

and the announcing does suck. im liking ncaa way more at this point, save for the graphics(which are comprable, but this game does make 08 look ugly).

 

i'm loving the game... gonna pwn the 360 league

running is hard though.

 

this has been my biggest gripe. i'll have a huge clearing as a RB with 92 speed, and a DT will chase me down and lock on like a homing missile. guys will fly across the field on defense like a metal to a magnet and it sucks.

 

they should have a single lousy employee man updates daily. itd take 5 minutes. its a joke.

 

DBs will still do it for swats and INTs too

Got Madden today or yesterday if you will. The game is good, I like it a lot. Its very similar to last years. I'm playing on all-pro and the fly is the easiest way to score a touchdown. Henne to Ginn is incredibly easy. Pennington has to have the weakest arm I have ever seen on a Madden game. I thought they underrated Andre' Goodman but whatever.

Btw, Joe Flacco completely sucks on this game and I don't know what team to start a franchise with. Any suggestions?

 

OMFG... I picked up my 360 to put my cat 5 in my xbox while it was on and it scratched a big ring in game. EB games better ****ing take it back or i'll be furious.

God damn this sucks.

The problem is the scratch is round and they gotta know it was my 360 that did it.

Either they exchange it or Blockbuster is about to get a scratched game when I rent and return it...

 

Tell them you got it like that. If they ask how can it possibly be damaged like that, say the damage could have been possibly done when they were inserting the game into the cover.

If they don't take your lying then you do the next best thing. Blockbuster.

 

Yeah. I'm going to say I was playing the game and got an error and said it was unplayable. When I took it out it had a big *** scratch on it.

I called MS support (since the error message lists a website) and MS says their 360's don't scratch games (if system was not moved), therefore it wasn't the 360 or my doing. The game is faulty and that's that.

Won't EA give them money back or something? why should EB care? I know Wal-Mart would switch it because they're dumb. Should of went there... I will from now on too.

 

Camera angle in superstar mode for receivers piss me off.

Why couldn't they use NCAA's?

 

My madden IQ on offense (rushing and passing) is all-pro. Don't know what that means exactly since you have to fill up like 5 bars to reach the next level (all-madden) and I have 2 or 3 filled up.

You also have to lead the receiver. I'm not scoring every time I do it, but I'm having lots of success going deep with that combo. Henne has good arm strength to pull it off. McCown, not so much. His passes are swatted a lot on deep balls I found. Man to Man is a must, obviously.

 

Why would you pick up the 360 while it was on with a disc in?

 

Yea I used the finz online once and Henne had like 3 or 4 passing tds Fasano had over 100 yards. Henne's longball is damn good.

 

I've online once. It was you typical online outing. By default the game puts your team at whom ever you select as your "Favorite Team" when you first start. So when I join the game, I'm on the Dolphins. Hardcore-Mor only picks the Phins. This clown goes cycling through all the teams and picks the Cowboys (obviously not picking his favorite team for a "better" one). He scores early and fast. He uses no-huddles almost all game.

In the 4th quarter, I'm down 4 with about a minute to go. I hot route Ronnie up the middle. Dill Pickle played the safety and completely bit on the play action. Toss to Ronnie and he's home free to the endzone. There was tooooooo much time left on the clock, so I dive at the 1 yard line (ballsy huh?). Waste as much clock as I can, then do a QB sneak (cheapest free 2-3 yards in Madden history) for a TD with 9 seconds left.

The guy called me cheater and quit.

So my rated 67 Dolphins beat the rated 92 (i think) Cowboys online. I'm currently undefeated at 1-0.
