http://gamerant.com/horizon-zero-dawn-gameplay-footage-e3-2016/ Long gameplay trailer for Horizon Zero Dawn. It really looks good, and seems to incorporate gameplay elements and styles from a number of other games, which is always nice to see. Also, preorder and special editions of the game are detailed. However personally, as a new game (series?), I'm not going to jump at that the way I would for a title I'm already familiar with. http://www.vg247.com/2016/06/14/horizon-zero-dawn-special-editions-pre-order-bonuses-detailed/
http://www.gameinformer.com/games/m...andromeda-will-feature-a-huge-open-world.aspx Article with a touch more information about the new Mass Effect. Reading between the lines with this and others, along with the trailer, it really sounds like the game will borrow the style of DA: Inquisition, where the different planets are their own seperate, exlorable, semi-open worlds, with different missions, enemies and allies, and likely along with the ship, there will be some sort of home base that the player acquires. For me, that would be awesome. They also did such a magnificent job with character models, facial expression and lip synch in DA:I, that you would have to assume ME:A would be at least as good.
Quality and impact. IMO the only other presentations that came close to Zelda: BotW were Days Gone and RE7.

http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/06...t&utm_medium=Web&utm_campaign=Zergnet_1071415 Bethesda says that a new Elder scrolls game will happen, but is third in line, behind two new large games, and will be many years in the future.
http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/06...ro-dawns-writer-answers-8-key-story-questions If you're interested in Horizon Zero Dawn, this interview is by far the most expansive and informative that I've read or seen. Lots of great stuff in there. Another great article, with a list of bullet points. http://www.dualshockers.com/2016/06...-more-info-on-dialogue-options-lore-and-more/
I guess we can use this as the "hey guys, trailerz!" thread. Gamescom happened and I missed it because work, but I'm catching up now. Some good stuff:
I think its a great idea to just use this thread as a general one for upcoming games that don't have their own spot.
http://pureplaystation.com/first-official-mass-effect-andromeda-gameplay/2016/09/ 3 minute video showing off a little gameplay and a short cutscene from Mass Effect: Andromeda. Its in 4k, but I'm watching it on a 4 year old laptop with a horrible internet connection, so it was blurry to me. Still, good to see a little bit before they show more on N7 Day.
http://gamerant.com/horizon-zero-dawn-ps4-pro-gameplay/ This article includes a very beautiful gameplay sequence from Horizon: Zero Dawn, different (and less random) than what has been shown before. The game looks terrific, and seems to play similar to Uncharted and AC, with RPG elements. I'm very excited.
http://kotaku.com/bethesda-says-son..._source=Kotaku_Facebook&utm_medium=Socialflow Bethesda says Sony won't allow mods on games for the Playstation systems now. For those who were interested, its a shame. I've never play a modded game, and I'm likely done with Fallout 4 for good, but I might have tried it out if I ever got the remastered Skyrim game.
https://gamerant.com/horizon-zero-dawn-tgs-trailer/ Beautiful, totally new trailer for Horizon: Zero Dawn from the TGS. Its entirely in Japanese, so its just visual for most of us, but its a fun language to listen to at least
http://www.gameinformer.com/b/featu...ur-biggest-fears-about-horizon-zero-dawn.aspx A good, long piece about answering questions about Horizon: Zero Dawn. Sort of putting fears to rest.
Love where we've come as a community in general when a concern is "will it be too challenging?". What's wrong with this current generation man? SJW's getting their feelings hurt with every sentence, games too challenging.......f me......man up. God forbid you challenge these kids in life, or in a something as trivial as a game. Everything has to be handed to them.
So... Feel free to make fun of me. But besides Dark Souls (where that's what i want from that) I generally am not into hard games. I have no problem or shame putting a game on easy. I have work, wife, and a young kid. I dont like (or have time) to redo stuff because it's hard lol. Just recently I played through the new Deus Ex and when it got to a point where it was slowing me down (later in the game), I didn't feel bad at all making it easier. The exceptions to this is games like Dark Souls where that's the point of the game, or MMOs like Destiny. Madden I also leave on the 2nd hardest for realism. That doesnt make the game any slower.
I play most games at default/medium difficulty level. I always, always try to get through the entire game without lowering that, but there are times that I need to. With the expansions to The Witcher 3, even though I was over leveled according to most people, I couldn't defeat any of the bosses on default, and had to go to easy to do it. Oh well. As long as I tried my best, I don't feel like I'm cheating myself. I've never, ever been a "stick skills" gamer, and I'm going to be 39 next week. My reflexes and eyesight aren't that great anymore
https://gamerant.com/mass-effect-andromeda-release-date-leak-847/ The release date for Mass Efffect Andromeda seems to have been leaked, and its March 21st, which was what a lot of people expected. It could of course be given that date officially, and then get delayed, as we see so often these days, also. Outside of sports titles, I'm struggling to think of a game I've bought for the PS4 that wasn't delayed at least once.
This better come to PC.
Uhhhhhh guys? Rockstar tweeted this out earlier... I think it's a hint...
http://gearnuke.com/horizon-zero-dawns-latest-screenshots-show-diverse-robotic-wild-life/ A group of really cool looking screen shots for Horizon: Zero Dawn focusing on "wildlife". I'm so hyped to play this game that I don't mind ME:A being delayed.
We've had a large number of games get announced lately that people have been looking forward to/anticipating/hoping for, for a long time. Red Dead most recently. Final Fantasy 15 is almost here. The reboot of FF7 is coming. Mass Effect Andromeda will get more news in a few weeks, and be here next spring. And I know that Nintendo fans are looking forward to the new Zelda game that will come out next year. So, what are some of the other games that are either coming at some point in the future, or aren't officially announced, that you guys are looking forward to? Here are some of mine. > A new Assassin's Creed game will be coming. If not next fall, then eventually. Probably numerous ones. > There is some evidence that Bioware is starting the writing and art design process for Dragon Age 4. The game won't be out until fall of 2018 at least. They usually start the game design process after they're finished with the Mass effect that they're working on. > CD Project Red earned my love with The Witcher 3. I'm eager to learn more about their new property, Cyberpunk 2077. They're not talking much though. I am looking forwward also to the Gwent game, which is coming soon. > Everyone anticipates that Bethesda will make another Elder Scrolls game eventually, but they seem to work hard to damper enthusiasm, saying in one interview that it would be 2020 at the earliest.
I've been playing the first Dishonored, getting ready for the new one here in a week or two. Pretty cool game. It's taking me longer because I'm playing a full-stealth nonlethal play through. Got the definitive edition for 20 bucks on the PS store.
You're so OP in that game that I couldn't stand going non-lethal. The powers are incredible. Love the game, though.
I think Cyberpunk is a 2019 game. I agree the next Elder Scrolls game won't be here before 2020. Also I'm super interested in Visceral's Star Wars game. Amy Hennig is writing the script for that game, too (she wrote the first 3 Uncharted games).
Believe me, I know. It is incredibly gratifying to go through a whole mission and go unseen. Makes you really feel like a supernatural ninja.
http://kotaku.com/standalone-gwent-makes-some-big-changes-to-the-witcher-1788452502 A good article on the beta version of the standalone Gwent card game. I'm still very interested in it, even though I'd only be playing the offline portion. No word on release, but the first half of 2017 seems likely.
