Sick, what is the big topic for your sports radio station these days?

 

starts with an F ends with E..........and rhymes with "Carve"

 

Huh. That actually surprises me. I figured the Steve Smith story would be huge in that neck of the woods...

 

good call, we've had alot of calls on that....preseason and what not....

but alot of panther fans calling in asking "why not go after favre?"

etc etc.....gettin old

 

Panther fans...ugh. Actually, I don't think I have a problem with Panther fans.

I hope someone there has told them that Delhomme is probably better for them at this point.

I should call in and demand that George Seifert be brought back.

 

I heard there are quite a few Dolphin fans in NC

Any Chad talk? Or are they as disgusted with that issue as we are?

 

alot of fin fans...its been made known i (the producer) is a dolfan....and i get calls razzin me....and some calls supporting me....pretty cool.... i asked if i could pump this site through every once in awhile....but they said "nay"

maybe i should just be like "yeah crazy about favre.....thephins.com.....WHAT?!?!?!?"

 

Right on. Subliminal messages are always fun. We have a business code of conduct where we are not supposed to steal our clients...clients. Professional courtesy if you will.

Every once in a while I find clever ways of sneaking our company name to a customer, or "accidently" putting someone else's client on a mailing list.

 

It makes sense that there are Dolphins fans in that neck of the woods. Probably a decent amount of Falcons fans too. If you think about it, up until about 15 years or so agao, the Panthers and Jaguars weren't there and the Bucs were perennial losers. The Dolphins were probably the closest thing to a local GOOD football team as they could get.

Falcons were closer logistically, but they sucked too...

 

I have family in Georgia. Outside of Atlanta you will find a large majority of Phins fans.

 

alot of people say Dan Marino was a HUGE factor in them being fin fans up here in nc.....pretty awesome to think one man turned thousands of people into life long fans of one team......pretty cool!

 

I always come off as the crazy guy out here in California. I will see someone with a phins hat and I go almost bat**** crazy with excitement.

Meanwhile the person in question is nothing more than a passing fan or "normal." They look at me like I am crazy as I talk to them about who should be the backup tight end.

Oh and if someone has a Dolphins decal on their car? I will honk and follow them to wherever they are going. that normally ends with cop cars showing up at the same spot coincidently enough...

 

Doesn't it make you sick to know that kids in Florida are growing up as Pats fans because of Brady?

haha thats so funny, cause on I-85 yesterday a guy had a tire on his car with a dolphins logo huge on it, i swerved in between like 3 cars, hit a lady in a wheel chair, and flipped 6 times next to the guy honked the horn like 30 times, (almost running into the person next to me) the guy waved and im pointing at my dolphins bumper sticker and florida license plate and sped up so he could see it, then slowed down to be next to him and gave him thumbs up......he wasnt as excited as me

 

I have a different perspective than you guys. I live in the heart of Dolphins country, so I usually go out of my way to berate any non-Phins fans.

If Im in a parking lot and see a car with a Pats bumper sticker, I might slash their tires.

Or in the case of the Grand Marquis with the Jets tag, copy their license plate number, look it up on the police databse, wait till they're not home, go to their house and pee in the back part of their toilet. That way when they flush, pee comes out. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

 

It was always weird to me to live in a place where everyone is either a Jets fan, a Patriots fan or a Cowboys fan. To me, seems like Dolphin fans are a minority on their own turf. Pisses me off.

 

Speaking of Publix, you working tomorrow? Theres a 90% chance I'll have an extra ticket for the game.

I do the same thing here Sam. If I see a Phins fan I go hi five them, or say go Phins or something. Actully last yr it was "cool" to be a phins fan here because of Green and Cameron. I cant imagine how that has changed so fast....

True story.
Had a job interview with Nike few weeks ago.
I thought i had an awesome interview.
Figured I had the job on lock down.
They told me they would in within 48 hrs.
Waited a week...Nothing.
Today, while I was waiting for my lady to get ready for the dinner (you know how that goes) saw a Nike commercial...In my head went over the interview...and realized that I am an idiot ))

One of the questions was, why i picked Nike out of all stores...
So of course i said that Nike is is worlds most recognizable clothing lines, yada yada yada, told them everything they wanted to hear.
In the end I said "Plus, i love your slogan, Impossible is Nothing"
They thanked me and let me go.
And today...nearly a month after my interview, I realized what I did wrong.
I just had to share with somebody, without looking anybody in the eyes
