Umm, what?
LMAO when Tyler Johnson is going for $10 Mill a year, this is not going to be a pretty Free Agency for the Heat. Tons of money being thrown around and unfortunately a quarter of our space is tied up in a player who may not ever play again. Hopefully Riles can work his magic, it is looking grim at the outset...
Good lord who the hell is TJ's agent? lol.. TJ has never reached to Jason Williams level and Jason on any market would never have reached 10 million per year..
Per Ramona Shelbourne, Blake, CP3 and DJ attending Durant meeting to pitch Big 4 idea Is Durant taking the mid-level?
Durant is going to give them five minutes and then when CP3 is done talking, he's going to say, okay who's going to pay my bills?
I wouldn't get my hopes up. I think they're the 4th most likely team to get him. Don't get me wrong, if he leaves Miami, I'd be all for him going to Portland. I just don't see how he essentially takes less to go there. Miami can offer him the most money, Dallas is 2nd with no state tax as well, and LA offers big time marketability.
Dallas has secured a meeting with Batum as well. I don't know how they do it, but if they somehow got Whiteside/Conley/Batum and Dirk came back cheap, that'd be a nice team
Depends on what he wants. We have a bright young nucleus here, and he has said he wants a good situation. He would be the big piece that could help us contend. Besides Miami, we have the best team to fit what he needs. If he goes to LA that would tell me a lot about his basketball aspirations.
So KD is meeting with 5 teams and the Thunder are attempting to circle back to him after the fifth meeting. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
BJAX BOMB:http://miamiherald.typepad.com/sports-buzz/2016/06/thursday-250-pm-whiteside-update.html Whiteside has scheduled meetings with Dallas and Portland. No decision made on timetable. May meet with Heat over weekend in NY. Heat leaning towards the max and trading Dragic/McBob to still have room for KD (jives with Sec's info, he is the man) Whiteside still prefers Heat as long as money is right I think he wants to stay and is loosening the pressure some
Man, Tapatalk refuses to open Twitter links. What's that say? Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
If we could roll with Whiteside and get Durant, I'm all in. That way, Wade gets that 3 yr $45 million deal still. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
Marc Spears is reporting that Durant associates say he is 90% to return to OKC and that it would take something amazing to change his mind
That 90% is such crap. Why would he be taking meetings with upwards of 6 teams if he was that sure he was going back to OKC? I think he knows Russ is leaving after next season and he is trying to get his ducks in a row in order to leave WITH him, or go to a team that could accommodate Russ next season. The guy is looking for a reason to leave, that is why he's taking meetings with organizations that are reputable and rock solid, he isnt meeting with Lakers, Knicks, Wizards or any other also-ran team.
GSW telling other teams that they believe KD is serious about joining them per Alex Kennedy Big talkers, though they've earned it I guess Reminds me of the Nets after their LeBron meeting though "front runner tremendous!!"
Just wait til Pat gets in that room Sunday...I think Riley has been cultivating this plan since LeBron walked, he's ready and he, along with Andy and Spo, know the pieces they need to get back to Championship Level. They will be ready to blow KD's mind...
It says that Woj was on LeBatard today and said the market on Tyler Johnson is $10M per year. That's absolutely insane. Also insane is apparently some Heat fans have been going after TJ on twitter telling him to leave because he's asking for too much. Lol, people are so stupid.
Thanks man. That was Shumpert's market last year. New cap ceiling is making teams crazy. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
Per Alex Kennedy, Whiteside is meeting with Dallas, Portland and Heat in NY Lakers did not get a meeting LOL This also means that he is not making a decision tonight. I think he ends up staying and we march him and Wade up to the Hamptons on Sunday
Side bar, if Memphis can get Parsons asking with the likely event if re-signing Conley, they're a dangerous team who could compete in the WCF. I think Tony Allen is just too much of an offensive liability to put them over the top, but they'd have a good team. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
