http://sports.yahoo.com/news/five-reasons-miami-dolphins-fans-130010892.html Gotta' agree. Thought you all would love to see that one.
I really think our defense has a chance to shock people with how good it is. That is IF we can stay fairly healthy. By that I mean the usual number of minor injuries every NFL team has to deal with. Also pretty excited about the offense where I believe our line will FINALLY give Ryan time. I do worry about the HB position though.
I read today that 7 of the top 10 defenses made the playoffs and only like 4 out of the top 10 offensive line did http://www.orlandosentinel.com/spor...-instead-of-laremy-tunsil-20160512-story.html
Yeah, but that's not a fair comparison: the entire defense vs. the OL?? Compare the DL vs. OL, or DB vs. OL, etc.. and if you consistently see one unit more predictive of playoff appearances than the other, they might have a point. Problem is, you're still picking just one player. So, how about the effect of one LB vs. an LT because they are suggesting we should've picked a LB instead of an LT?
The point was to make your defense strong or your OL strong. I think it is fair to say that a strong defense is more important then OL as some argue that the OL is the key to an offense.
Yes but this year were strengthier all kidding aside its preseason and we always see these articles. New Coach or not this team has to PROVE they give a damn to get my money back. I wish them luck and will watch but not supporting the trash we seen over last 15 years. This team is the definition of consistent at anything except missing the playoffs..
An improved OL should make life easier for the run game, right? A talent like Ezekiel Elliot can make something out of nothing, but a solid OL will make even an average HB look fairly good. I think we are going to have good passing game and a 'good enough' run game to go with it. It would be nice to run it consistently down on the goal line though....
I think Ajayi/Drake combo is gonna be good, and above average. Not to mention the screen game of Drake/Landry/Carroo should be scary! As far as the D, I can see some really good things if Kiko stays healthy. I'd like to see Hull, or Vigil take Koa's spot in the preseason. I'm actually pretty impressed with the talent Tannenbaum has put together. A lot of solid additions of talented players. Iso, Maxwell, Rashad, Howard looks like a good combo with contributors as well behind them.
I like how he writes about all the O players, because SO many writers are just focused on Tunsil, it's a good little write up.
