Keeps coming... Heat Executive Adam Simon has been named D-League Exec. of the Year, and Heat D-League property DeAndre Liggins has been named Defensive player of the year. So Skyforce now has the MVP, COTY, EOTY, and DPOY. so they got 4 of 5 awards so far. Most Improved is last award to be given out.
Perfect time to mess with your rotations, Dwane Casey. Brilliant...reminiscent of last year's Wiz disaster. Indy with the big coaching advantage this series. This could go 7. PAUL GEORGE TAKEOVER. Beating them every which way. Wow. Can't beat playoff hoops man.
The #FireSpo crowd has no ground to stand on. From fielding playoff teams before the Big 3, to constantly being able to adjust during the Big 3 era, to adjusting 2 consecutive seasons with CB being injured, Spo has been phenomenal. Here's to hoping he finishes his career in Miami.
Someone spray some stickum to Howards hands.. The basketball is bouncing off his palms at a ridiculous rate
It definitely seemed like it was pre-arranged to me. We paid them cash for a second round pick, and they took Stokes off our books. This along with our Udrih buyout allowed us to fall out of the repeater tax, right?
Any idea if CB is going to be making a return for us in the playoffs? I'm really hoping he will have a role to play in our run to the finals.
Gameday! Gotta defend homecourt - have a feeling we're in for a long series. I'm interested to see how many minutes Whiteside gets, in a slower game and without a good backup option. Can he play 40 strong minutes? In crunchtime, which rookie is Spo gonna go to to guard Kemba? We'll see how those two guys respond to the playoff atmosphere - helps that we're starting at home.
No idea. I know he can play and wants to play, but he can't get cleared if he has any trace of a thinner in his system. The Miami Heat as Team Policy will not allow a player to ever play under a waiver.
Eh Wade is gonna slap some hornets around just like he did when Baron Davis was leading that team. Go Heat! And Go Pistons, i want a long series for the Cavaliers
I wonder what kind of blood thinners they put him on. I am not a pharmacist, but I work in a medical laboratory and I cannot imagine what sort of thinner they had him on. Warfarin and Heparin are both out of the system fairly quickly, within a week or two.
yeah i thought the same. thinking of going w toronto next gm. those two probably bounce back w great gms
Unstoppable.. So far one game in and we look like the best team in the East.. But its just one game.. Got to take care of game 2 and take at least one in Charlotte.
The Grizzlies starting lineup. Yeesh... Jordan Farmar vince carter Matt barnes Zach randolph Hollins A bunch of has beens and scrubs... San Antonio might win by a hundred
He does commercials for xarelto. My understanding is that the half-life is 9-13 hours so it should easily be out of your system in a couple of days. It doesn't make sense to me for the delay or hesitation to be just about the drug clearing the system. My guess is that there are other concerns. I remember a study about a decade ago that said idiopathic clotting (unknown cause) had about a 22% recurrence rate. My concern is that Bosh might be among that 22%.
The Heat put a lot out on that floor man, a lot of angst building into that performance. Hope they saved some for the rest of the playoffs, lol.
No tough road game the night before to zap our 2nd half this time. Awesome performance - sent via Tapatalk -
Heat DESTROY the Hornots and I start my job at JP Morgan in the morning. If this good stuff persists, I'm coming to a playoff game this year. If I do end up coming, anyone willing to give me tips on making the trip?
It'd be an honor to have a trip planned by the godfather of ThePHINS Heat basketball. I can probably get my round trip tickets for around $250. How much should I be budgeting for game tix, hotel, and fast women? That way I can come up with a timeline for myself.
Heat definitely the only team in the East I don't want the Cavs to face. Certainly wouldn't put confidence any higher than 51%, which is significantly lower than any other match-up we could have.
Whiteside finishes 3rd in Defensive Player of the Year voting Kawhi first, Draymond second Still incredible for a guy in the D-League last year Oh and for laughs, look at the list of media that left Hassan off the ballot completely.....some familiar names
Fell asleep, looks like CP3 took Lilliard to school and the spread covered.. had a good betting day yesterday, only loss was the Anaheim Ducks..
Hotel is gonna be expensive near the arena. for Tix, budget about $100-125 each for decent seats. For primo seats, budget $300 each.
Heat D-League affiliate ..the Skyforce..are the Eastern Conference Champions. Advance to D-League Finals.
Sec - wanted to get your opinion on this, as twitter went nuts when I brought it up - Where would you rank Brad Stevens as an NBA coach? Twitter is CONVINCED he's top 3 - maybe even top 2. I think that's insane. Pop and Carlisle are very clearly the best coaches in the league. And I'm struggling with any argument that puts Stevens ahead of Spo or Kerr. And then there's Bud, Stotts, Vogel. I mean...you could probably put Stan Van Gundy on that list, as well. Jason Kidd has done some great stuff. I was just shocked at how much push back I got at the idea that Stevens is more of a top 5-7 coach, not top 2-3. His resume is so thin.
