how is superstar mode? is it still ridiculously hard if you are a cornerback with the camera angle to cover people?

 

well i read in that link in the first post of this thread that you can put some people at other positions... so you can make CB a WR at least... not sure how far you can take that, but its better than nothing...

I have a problem. I game on the PC, and damn EA isn't releasing it on the PC.....buggers!!!

Is there a 360 or PS3 emulator for the PC that I can run?

Wow if there was a 360 emulator all of the RROD victims would be running to their PC to get it. The PS3 has a completely different architecture from a PC, so I doubt there would be any emulator for that right now.

Well 360's may be had for $199 soon if it is any consolation.

 

There are PS3 and 360 emulators for the PC. However, at this point it's nowhere near playable. And there probably isn't a PC out there that can handle gameplay. So emulation is in the bios stages.

Update... Finished weeks 1 & 2 in the franchise. I lost game 1 vs the Jets (uhg) 13-7. I won game 2 against the Cardinals in an overtime thriller, 13-10.

 

So overall mor because I know you will critique EA well....do you think this game is worth the purchase? Have they really made a better game or have they just done another roster update?

I read that the CE comes with headcoach and allows you to create plays and import them into your playbook, any idea how that feature is working?

Also, how does Dolphin Stadium look? What uni's did they give us this year?

I heard there were no sliders in this game.

There aren't any CPU sliders the human ones are still there and the special teams sliders are for both human and CPU.

I have a question for all of you guys. How important is it to connect to XBL or PSN in Madden. I have heard they release updated player ranking though the year. I have never played Madden or any of the sports games what few I tried I just blew and it was no fun. I really want to see if I can get into Madden and thought about picking up the 08 version on the cheap to see how well I can do and if I can get into it. And if I like it I thought I would shell out the 50-60 bucks for 09. I don't have an account with XBL so I would probably go with the PS3 Madden because PSN is free. Thanks for any advise about the Madden game is appreciated.

 

I wouldn't get Madden08. Madden09 is a much more polished game. The rosters are nice if you want the current ones. Otherwise, you can edit them yourselves.

 

They can read the box, they just dont care. At least I never did when I had a job like that in high school. The store can get in trouble, but I never saw an employee get in any over it.

 

EA says a roster update with Favre will be available for download when the game comes out, and there'll be a downloadable cover with Favre in a Jets uniform.

Yeah, same here At least I can get the game for 20$ so if I decide to get it on the PS2 it doesnt cost me much. I really need to upgrade my console already

You can get it go 20 off gamestop, and my whole thought behind that was to get use to the feel of the game. But regardless my main question was how important is it to the game to DL?
