Play him the last pre-season game, just to get a little hit.

I would hate to see him go down during a pre-season game.

There is no point. The way ricky has been running, let him take the first few snaps then let the backups take over. Keep ronnie out till the last preseason game.

Let Patrick Hobbs, Parmale, and HIlliard get all the reps they want. Leve Ricky and Ronnie on the sideline!

I think winning in the preseason may be more important to us this year. The coaches may want to give the players a taste of what it feels like to win, and how to do it.

    Live from the Internet.
I say give him 5 carries.
    Just 5.
If he does well...give him 8 the next game.

I am SHOCKED at the recovery rate Ronnie has had. That said, I hope we dont see another Daunte situation. Take your time RB, we're in re-build mode anyway.

Agree. Keep him on the sidelines. Let him recover.

As C. Portis if he is gonna play any more pre season games.

I will not be surprised if he gets 2 or 3 carries this game. His biggest hurdle will be confidence, and they might play him just for that. Just a taste, then he can dwell on that for a week or so.

The main thing all those guys recovering from injury worry about is that first REAL hit. Let him test it briefly to gain that confidence as you said, then shut it down.
