that means you were rooting for the patriots, our enemy, to surpass our team's greatest achievement.........."the perfect season" the one thing we hold above every other franchise in all four major sports

Actually R. Wilson is sacked at a 9% rate per drop back , Ryan is at 7.6.

He's averaging 7.1ypa, 21 td 11 ints, 3k+ yards. Bet he'd love to have an oline that he could actually depend on. I doubt his stats would improve, or his pocket presence would look better if he had an NFL caliber line.

Yeah, I don't care about that. I want us to be relevant at some point during my lifetime, not cling onto something that happened when my dad was 9 years old.

Take out all the YAC from those early Campbell games and he's closer to the 22nd, 27th and 28th YPA rankings of 2014/13/12 respectively.

Yes, he's also going to do it.

And literally no one has ever said that Wilson is crappy.

Really? Adam said he'd be waived by us. But maybe he meant we're stupid. Perhaps somebody can find that quote.

Maybe not you, but remember you are on a board with people who were calling Ryan Tannehill a top 7 QB, so laughable extremes aren't all that uncommon around here.

Uh, yeah, maybe you should stop misrepresenting him.

I believe he said, that with our crappy D and terrible gameplans, Wilson wouldn't have been successful, and we would have gotten rid of him. I think mostly sarcastic to make a point.

i did say that but you missed the reason. it was scheme and coaches. sherman and lazor. wilson wouldnt have fit their schemes and neither likes adjusting to the players skillset the way bevell and carroll do. others got the reason though

So what? There's absolutely no denying that Seattle won alot of games by asking Wilson to score under 25 points. I don't care how much better you think he is, he benefited greatly from a great defense and a stout run game, plus coaches who schemed to his strengths.

Tannehill has had literally none of that.

You said in that post that he needs a strong running game. What happened? Didn't Miller do well today?

He had a good defense for a couple of years. Too bad he can't keep the opposing defense on the field.

He had both today and we won despite him. Largely thanks to horrendous officiating. Without that, we lose to one of the worst, one of the most injured teams in the NFL that played a terrible games themselves.

Gun to head, Tannehill or Gabbert?

and we won. like i said earlier. that was tannehill's impersonation of wilson. lean on a good defense and run game and then make a couple of dramatic plays to ensure victory

Wilson, with crappy line and low budget WRs has 107 ratings in the 4th quarter and on 3rd down, and that is above his overall 102 rating.

That is the difference between the 2 QBs, one is money, the other is not.

Tannehill has never had a good defense. They were bad last year, don't even try to trot that argument out.

For the record, Wilson has lost close games when his back goes over 100 yards.

wilson won his first game when the defense gave up more than 24 points against pittsburgh just a few weeks ago. how carzy is that stat? to be in your fourth year and never once winning a game when the defense gave up 24 points

one can play action because the opposing defense is respecting the run and one finds eight or seven defensive players flooding the zones because they dont respect the run

Oh, I know. But Wilson is this clutch, elite football god, in the vein of Tebow.

    He just wins games.

If thats what he does then....

Why is he statistically better than Ryan with an even worse OL and a group of pass catchers that Tom Brady laughs at? You literally can not say those things about Wilson when he has transformed a flawed offense and is flat out a playmaker...and are QB's 2015 claim to fame is that he has improved his deep ball.

Its bringing a knife to a gun fight....lets talk Ryan vs Cutler...thats atleast not a ridiculous comparison.

Wow. When you've got an agenda there's nothing that can stop you from sticking to it. I applaud your stick-to-itiveness.

If by lean you mean win despite a horrendous performance then yes. I've already dismantled this argument. I don't remember the last time a QB played this poorly and still won.

Let me guess, when Wilson buried the Packers with the game winning TD pass?

Oh and how is Hasselbeck doing? Still think Luck is to blame? Flip over to NBC if you're not watching this.

Oh yes, Tannehill throws an excellent slant pass and Wilson is terrible at it. Find the stats, that'll comfort you.

Baby steps. First you find the slant pass stats, then beat your chest and continue to build your argument for Tannehill and against Wilson.

    What else do you got?

How pathetic is it that Ryan Fitzpatrick is a better QB than Ryan Tannehill? We as Dolphins fans are just cursed.
