That can't be if wins and losses are QB stats.

Nobody said they are. We argued that good QBs tend to have good records, which is true the vast majority of the time. Don't speak for others.

Get back on topic. If you don't think we won despite Tannehill, make a case for it.

He couldn't throw a deep ball last season...he has clearly improved on it, props to him on that front. Unfortunately he has taken a step backward in many other areas and now what we have is a QB who's career is slipping away.

i remember saying this would be the excuse. he improved last year. the only difference between last year and this year is he has receivers that can track and adjust and catch instead of stepping out of bounds and dropping passes. thats why our front office brought in stills and parker

it's true. tannehill did his best russell wilson impression today. he relied on his defense, field position and run game and made a few critical passes to seal the deal

Thats exactly right...he was throwing great deep passes his whole career.

I guess I shouldn't put it past your little group to grasp on top one last straw since that was the only good play Ryan had ALL DAY at home vs one of the worst pass D's in all of football.

I mean....what else do you have?? He was 9-19 with 80 some yards and a 48 QBR in a game where his protection was decent, he could audible, he had an alpha WR at his disposal...what excuse do you have for his play?

I'll hang up and listen because THIS will be good.

Yeah, his best Russell Wilson impression was 9/19, 86 yards and 1 TD.

You're quite literal about few critical passes. One pass for 47 yards and a TD to a towering Parker. Take that away and he's 8/18 for 39 yards, 0 TDs. Against a Ravens team led by Matt Schaub with one of the worst passing defenses in the league.

Not so easy to look good when you're asked to be efficient, not even against a terrible team.

If his insistence of Ryan being "a top 10 QB" is any indicator?? Id say accuracy isn't in his vocabulary.

Forgot to mention that we would've lost if the Ravens weren't screwed by that terrible call that took away a TD.

he doesnt say he's a top ten qb only that his stats are. one cant quantify "leadership" and "pocket presence" and having that "it" factor

We are at the point where he could have all the leadership in the world, but if your a shi--y QB you simply won't be playing much longer. He has fell off a cliff in terms of development, he is a borderline top 20 QB and thats being polite.

I am amazed at how many people want to ditch a top 10 QB. How many times have we had a top 10 QB not named Marino?

Sounds like he said top 10 QB to me, which is as idiotic as it gets.

    Yeah, I'm the troll, right?

Take a look at the play again. Our DB put hands on their pass catcher, I believe it was their tight end, Gillmore. Gillmore put his arm out too. Our DB flopped and fell. Flag tossed, TD negated.

Isn't Tannehill on pace to be only the fourth guy to throw for 3k in each of his first four seasons in NFL history?

My dad is from Boston and so is his best friend. Family over football. I root for the Dolphins when they play against the Pats.

I'm the only one? Everybody that's not a Dolphins homer agrees with that.

yeah. but thats only because of the receivers. his sacks are his fault though. he's probably apporaching a record for that too. most sacked qb in his first four years

So what? Off of how many attempts? What's his YPA? He's also got the record for most consecutive completions when his team was playing out of its mind. These stats have zero context whatsoever.

Yeah that's not pass interference. I remember thinking it wasn't when watching it live too. We got a few calls in that game, but the officiating has just been so horrible in the past few weeks I guess that's what to expect now.

Brother...give it up. If these guy's are STILL defending his play and carrying on as if he is any kind of an asset to this team?? Then you have to recognize who you are arguing with and simply tone it down to playfully poking fun instead of actually debating.

Yes I did. I will always root for my friends and family's teams once my team is out of it. I'm not ashamed not even one bit. You can stay on your high horse and pretend you're a better fan for it but I've always been a Dolphins fan even though they've sucked my entire life.

Just like you pretend you're smarter than me and question my literacy despite your atrocious grammar... even though I challenged you to prove your superiority.

I know, I know. I just can't believe it. I choose to believe they can realize the truth but maybe they can't.

I can't playfully poke fun. I've rubbed a lot of people the wrong way and invite way too many personal attacks.
