Talk about it. I have a guess as to who the spy is... Spoiler not really earth shattering but I'll put spoiler tags here anyway. It has to be Enid. Not just because her name is dine backwards but she seems to be the one that leaves secretly on her own. Meeting up or dropping pictures of the inside of the facility. JSS... Just Survive Somehow. building 101... where she ultimately ended up with Carl and it wasn't attacked by the wolves. Not sure if she put the A outside or not. Who else could it be?
On a third note, I was watching the first couple of episodes... from season 1... it's funny to go back and see how advanced the zombies were then. The opening scene, the little girl zombie bends down and picks up her bear... In Atlanta, one of the walkers has a rock in his hands, smashing it against the department store window. Then, later on, when Rick and Glenn go for the construction site with the trucks inside, one of the zombies climbs the perimeter fence.
I'd have to go back and watch previous episode, I thought I remember Rick telling Morgan to get back to the neighborhood - this was right before the zombie parade made the orthogonal turn.
and wasn't Enid acting suspiciously when they first came into the neighborhood last season? I remember thinking she was a spy for the wolves last year. wonder what the "A" means.
I don't think there is a spy. That was Aaron's bag that he left in the car when him and Darryl were trapped. He knew they were his photos and his bag.
ah yes, that's right. I didn't watch Talking Dead yet (they had the actor that plays Enid on). I suspect it was rehashed there. I remember the Wolves guy finding the pictures last season but I forgot how he acquired them. Now that you mention Aaron, that makes sense. He's out there recruiting, using the pictures as a marketing strategy... well that backfired.
well... nobody ready to comment yet? I'll use the spoiler tags... Spoiler That was rough... I didn't sleep much last night. He was one of my favorite characters. Watched the talking dead afterwards. They are saying that he's not "done" yet. But I can only imagine that they'll either show him in some kind of flash back or as a walker. He wasn't part of the in memoriam that they usually have. Although next week there will be a "surprise guest." They showed an audience reaction to that scene. It was similar to people mourning over John Snow last season of GOT Man these writers rip our hearts out. Obviously, nobody is safe. Rick looks to be in deep ****. I can't imagine he'll be killed off though... at least not until the end. It was a bit ironic the creator of Lost was on last night too. He made a good point about the guy that got bit and his mini arc within the episode (married 3 months ago) and how that compared to Glenn. And how neither one is getting a chance to say good bye to their new wives. Brutal. Glenn's final conversation with Rick over the Walky Talky... similar to his first. But okay, question... where the hell was Daryl going? And then he hears shots so he goes back to the front of the herd walk. And why was Rick stopping on his way back to Alexandria? This show... brutal... you either take the easy way out or die brutally.
I suppose I'll use the spoiler tags too even though I don't agree with having to use them. Spoiler I don't think Glenn is dead, I think the guts shown were from Nicholas and Glenn was screaming because of the traumatic event he just witnessed (ie, someone blowing their own head off). I just don't think they would kill off such a major character with ten minutes left in the episode... seems like a waste IMO.
Clearly Glenn isn't dead. And not because of the Lucille thing from the comics. Talking Dead didn't have him on the Memorial. There were a lot of throwbacks to the first two episodes in that episode. With Rick trapped again and Glen covered in "Guts". I guess the theory is that Nicholas' body falls on top of Glenn and is ripped a part. That camouflages him from the other Walkers. He can crawl under the dumpster for safety until something (Rick killing the other Wolves?) draw them away from that alleyway. TWD usually makes the death of a major character profound. Even Beth got an entire hostage trade-off scene before she gets offed.
Well, I've rewatched the scene, and I don't see how Glenn isn't dead. There's one angle where Nicholas isn't on top of him. All you see is the shirt that Glenn was wearing and guts coming out of it. Sure, I'm holding out hope... love to know how Glenn even makes it to the ground when they are surrounded by walkers. In actuality, he would have been crowd surfing his way to his own demise. Lindlehof also had a good point after the show... how many major characters can you have on the show? Glenn is as much of a major character as Andrea was. Anyone can go at anytime. Although I reckon Rick is the only untouchable one and please don't bring up the comics here But if we are saying Glenn is major and can't be killed then who else? Daryl, Carol, Rick, Carl, Michonne and Maggie?
I think Rick and Carl are the only untouchable characters on the show. I do think that if/when Daryl, Glenn, or Michonne dies (maybe include Maggie, Carol, and Morgan on that list)... it'll be a season or mid-season finale. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if there was an episode revolved around Glenn later on focused on him surviving/getting back to the group... only to see him die at the very end.
you don't think they are going to show what happens to Glenn in the next episode? They are going to leave us hanging for a while? I hate this show....Love this show....
No. They'll probably wait until episode seven to show what happened... then kill him off at the end of episode eight. Because **** you, that's why.
I think Rick's daughter is untouchable, although she should be pretty easy to kill (compared to others) since she can't defend herself or run away.
I don't think Rick is untouchable at all. The way they've been turning Carol into a ninja badass, and the reappearance of Morgan shows that there are more than just one person capable of being the leader of that group.
In all honesty, I hope Glenn is dead. Don't get me wrong -- I love the character. It's just that if they go the comics route, that means he'll die in the worst way possible.
Spoiler I'm pretty sure getting Glenn getting his head beaten into mush while calling out for Maggie would be a lot worse for him.
I'm excited that this weeks show will be 90 minutes. That'll be a lot of show to not show what happened to Glenn. But I believe they leave everyone hanging.
I was pretty disappointed in this episode. Not sure why it took 90 mins (including commercials) to do that episode.
A backstory filler to develop a character .Fortunately I downloaded the episode and fast forwarded most of the time .It only took me 20 mins to get through it .
That was a waisted 90 minutes. I would have prefered the earlier episode of the wolves getting into the community to be 90 minutes. They could have done this back story in 15 minutes.
I thought the backstory was fine. But I didn't watch it Sunday, watched it last night, so I was able to fast forward through the 45 minutes of commercials. I will say that it's ridiculous the amount of commercials this season, it breaks up the action/drama too much. One detail I still don't get, if everyone is infected and turns when they die, it makes no sense that when someone gets a bite, especially a smaller one in the last episode, that it would cause you to die/turn so quickly. Are they implying that the immune system generally keeps a lid on the infection but a bite injects an overload and overwhelms the immune system?
One thing that ive learned while watching this show, you don't question things like this. There are tons of inconsistencies with those types of things. Just be entertained.
