seems like he doesn't believe in our coaches or what they are doing on defense, also seems the sluggish magoo like attitude of our HC isn't lost on him.

 

So coaching sucks and it takes Suh one and a half games to decide to ignore them.

Took Odrick two years to blow up publicly. Suh is less tolerant of incompetence. Lol.

Philbin will ask Tannenbaum to trade or cut Suh asap. Lol.

Not making the playoffs and losing to a team like the Jaqs is going to spell the end of Philbin and this coaching staff. The fact Suh might be clashing with the coaching staff is a given when you consider how many players have questioned this coaching staff over the past three years.

I just wonder if Suh is now questioning if signing with a team who was willing to pay him the most money was really worth having to deal with such an incompetent coaching staff.

 

No way in hell does this go a full 14 weeks and end well. Joe is a tractor trailer stuck on the train tracks, the only question is when is the next train coming.

 

I'm sorry but he's getting paid way too much money to come in here and not do what the coaches tell him to do. We didn't bring him here to create his own scheme and freelance. Either way, he's been non-existent, just like the rest of our defense.

 

Well...heres how I see it. Philbin and Coyle are hurting this team. Not sure how anyone can argue thats not the case. Suh is off to his worst start in his career, I think, and he took it upon himself to make **** happen. Forget this coaching staff

 

Hello...where have you been last few weeks. He freelanced because the Coaches suck. Him freelancing actually made a difference in the game.

Saw Suh a couple times telling Shelby something As jax came out of huddle then they'd stunt or twist at the snap. Suh was absolutely calling his own stuff at times.

Then again, if you're going to pay somebody that sort of money, you ought to be comfortable giving him some sort of "voice" in this regard. That doesn't mean he should be doing his own thing during games, but when he has something to say in meetings, you probably ought to listen and incorporate some of it. Otherwise, why did you pay him that much? Surely if he's worth that sort of money, his contribution doesn't stop at being merely the "robot" you send out there to follow your instructions.

Suh wouldn't be the first Dolphins defensive linemen to have an issue.

Randy Starks and Jared Odrick both have, and I'm sure that there are other players as well. I'd imagine that Olivier Vernon probably isn't too happy with the defensive coaching either.

 

Can you fire a coordinator during the season? I know the Ravens did it to Cammy Cameron, but can we just fire Coyle now? If yes who would take over the rest of the season? Legitimate question here on my part, I mean there is no way in Hell our defense should be struggling like this.

 

Mark Duffner would almost certainly be the guy who would take over for Kevin Coyle in-season.

I'm kind of curious if Joe Philbin would throw anyone under the bus like that, unless forced.

Suh freelanced all the time in Detroit, he's not good enough to play lane responsible and still be disruptive.

As I have been saying all along, that signing was a huge mistake.

 

Joe philbin's loyalty will cost miami another year. In fact, ross's loyalty too.

He would not. He wasn't going to fire Turner after that cluster happened, there's no way he's capable of firing a guy on his own initiative.

 

Suh isn't wrong with what he's saying, however he obviously needs to follow the gameplan or it isn't going to work, either. Its a mess. NOT changing out Philbin and Coyle after last year was a mistake from the moment the choice was made, and it has the potential to get ugly. Instead of getting the best out of all the talent we have on both sides of the ball, we're going to just scrape through the year yet again.

I'll keep my hopes up every single week. Its what I do. But I think it'll be harder for the next head coach to come in and just take over without a lot of changes. At this point, hopefully Tannehill is a selling point, along with Landry, and we can bring in a defensive HC who scraps everything on that side of the ball other than Suh, Jones and a few others and starts fresh.

 

For all he supposedly put his job on the line refusing to fire Mike Sherman (to where they remain friends to this day), I notice that Mike Sherman was dismissed and Joe Philbin still kept his job. So...

I would never accuse our fair sergeant of being strong in the face of pressure. If Ross and Tannenbaum wanted it done, it would probably be done.

 

Incidentally let me translate what Ndamukong Suh is saying.

He's saying, like Jared Odrick and Randy Starks before him, that the scheme is not playing to the talents of the players on the defensive line, and they should change it.

 

or maybe he's just sick of being told to stay in a spot where you continually have offensive lineman diving at your legs.

Is it the coaches being stubborn? Why isn't tannenbaum doing or saying anything? Are they giving the coaching staff enough rope to hang themselves? Seems like the same **** as last year and year before. ****ed up.

 

This is going to be one of those club level revelations that there's pictures of people's junk in a safe somewhere.

I'm really not sure why Philbin just doesn't get it. I mean, at what point as the head coach do you start looking at things and trying to put it into perspective? We had two good DLmen, complaining about the system, and we were ineffective. So, we got rid of them, stuck with the scheme, and made it "simpler", brought in Suh, and some other new guys that have a proven track record, and we are still ineffective.

I don't get why it's taking this fool so long to realize that maybe, just maybe it's the damn scheme, and it's not all on the players. His stubborn stupidity is going to be his downfall, and I personally, can't wait much longer.

At this point best case scenario is the team gets 5 wins and they finally fire Philbin, Coyle, and Lazor. They're all bad. Bringing this team no where. How do you mess up with Suh and Wake? Any coach that can't bring a pass rush with those guys really blows. Also Tannehill needs to be more mobile and get some throws down the damn field. Instead of all this dink and dunk play calling. Last possession of the game no time outs and 40 seconds left the team was still doing the dink and dunk. This run game is the worst in the NFL. And can we finally get an offensive line this offseason?!
