Just to wet the beak. Seems to have very good vision through the hole. Between he, Cameron, Parker, Landry, etc, the Red Zone O should see some much needed improvement. http://www.thephinsider.com/2015/6/...mi-dolphins-highlight-video-jay-ajayi-edition
Thank you Sceeto....I enjoyed the film and Ajayi definitely looks he will be a steal ! I am excited and ready for Training Camp to begin ,already.
He looks much better than some fifth round pick..not sure how one runs like that if their knee is as bad as what's been reported but he's to good for the statements about his knee to not be true, cause if they were'n't he would of went earlier.
Looks to be a nice compliment to Miller, if he can adjust to the NFL game quickly...don't see why he can't.
Yeah, but as others have said, you get one contract out of him and it's all good. It didn't seem to effect him much.
Sure, Highlights are Highlights but it seems like he is almost unstoppable one on one. His excellent vision enables him to make very effective cuts. His running style is dynamic and fluently.
It still amazes me that we got him in the 5th round. Looks to be such a good fit here in Miami....I was always impressed with him when watching Boise St. games. I can imagine that all of us can hardly wait..Also with his Knee injury in 11, it does not look like it has slowed him down any and I hope that he can go for many years to come.
Looks good. Surprised by his open field speed. Can bump it outside. Hits the hole quickly. Have to take into account some of the competition. Did he fumble a bunch?
Thanks, Deej. I asked for a reason, and what I suspected in seeing the vid was confirmed with the stats. He fumbled 7 times in '14. And while I have heard of the guy, I never looked at his stats, etc. Quite impressive. But he seems to not take care of the ball like you would like. He doesn't seem to have that innate "ball security awareness". Can he be taught this? And will he listen? I think he's one helluva runner. But again, context of competition. Did he look good because he is good, or was he just better than anyone he faced? Those would be the questions I ask.
lets remember how many carries he got last year, I believe more touches than any other skill player in the country..7 times could be misleading, you might have 1 that was the qbs fault, you might have 1 or 2 that the defender laid his hat on the ball..its something to look at closely in preseason, he he lazy with the ball.
Maybe. But I asked because he seemed to be, as you say, "lazy with the ball". Just something I noticed. It could be as you say. But my intuition tells me it's likely how he carries the ball. While he may have touched the ball more times than any position player in the country last year, 7 fumbles in only 12 games is a bit discouraging. We'll see.
He should be the steal of the draft. No way he should be a 5th rounder. I think he will surprise people this season.
