Cameron Wake on #Dolphins: 'Everybody is hungry' I've heard that one before Kraken so lets keep hungry not when we just make the playoffs, but after everything is over.
Adam Beasley @AdamHBeasley 32s33 seconds ago Kelvin Sheppard, for some reason, is not here today. hmmm, probably legit excuse.
Omar Kelly Ryan Tannehill scrambles for like 20 yards on first play of 11-on-11. Know a certain someone is going to like this.
so we've heard of one of these happening during the last set of practices where he tucked and ran, we hear about another, even though this is in shorts for him to actually scramble instead of executing the pass play tells me maybe just maybe its being inputted in the gameplan and coached in his mind... the importance of threatening the defense with this element and the lack of it happening in game has been nothing short of BS.. its good to hear that he did it.

Chris McCain is still at OLB on the first team. He's a good sleeper pick for the #Dolphins this year.
James Walker @JamesWalkerNFL 7m7 minutes ago #Dolphins S Louis Delmas makes a nice play to poke the ball out and cause a fumble from TE Jordan Cameron in team drills.
Maybe he needed to get comfortable playing from within pocket before deciding to tuck and run... maybe it's all starting to come together now. If Tannehill would scramble a few times a game and pick up a good chunk of yards and valuable 1st downs, somewhat like Aaron Rodgers, it would be perfect to me. I wouldn't want him running all game long and exposing himself to injuries, though. About 2 designed runs and 3 scrambles per game sounds about right. He'd be picking up somewhere between 25-30 yards a game, which would give him 400-odd yards in the season, not to mention the TDs if he does it more in the red zone... sounds pretty good to me.
jesus, these reporters do not know how to give us what we want. James Walker @JamesWalkerNFL Drop my Matt Hazel in drills.'' lol...wtf cares if hazel droped a pass in drills.
sure, lets hope that after 3 full years thats the case....its not a difficult concept to understand...its football...def backs turn their backs to you, theres a lane, regardless of what play is called, you slice the defense, so for the next play when their in coverage they cant just keep their focus on the receiver assignment..
I dig that.. Only thing I might wanna see is if Mike thomas blows up in camp and preseason and pushes delmas for the starting spot, allowing him to continue to strengthen his leg and decrease his reps a bit...Would also not mind seeing Tripp platoon with mccain or Misi for a bit.
1. Draft Billy Turner, who played four years as a left side, offensive tackle in the FCS. 2. Move him from offensive tackle to offensive guard, citing need. 3. Move him from left side to right side back to left side back to right side, citing need. 4. Bench him for nearly the whole year, citing injury. 5. Play him at right side, offensive tackle due to injury. 6. Move him to right side, offensive guard, citing some hokum about his "stance". 7. Practice him against the highest paid defensive player in football. 8. Demote him because he struggled in a couple of OTAs. 9. Profit.
Actually, it does take a while for things to slow down enough for a QB to think both pass and run. The QBs who have been able to incorporate both quickly had done both for years in college and sometimes also HS. Tannehill didn't have that background. He was literally years behind the others in terms of experience using those concepts.

best one of the day from walker..so far. ''Good outside speed rush from OLB Chris McCain against #Dolphins RT Ja'Wuan James. McCain brings some tools to the table.''
I actually like Michael Thomas very much, but I don't think he'll beat out Delmas. He will get playing time thoug, and probably a good amount.
@JamesWalkerNFL It's just practice. But I'm seeing enough this spring/summer to say Ndamukong Suh and Cameron Wake vs RGs and RTs are going to be a problem.

It'll be interesting to see how the S positions shakes out. I think Delmas and Reshad Jones are the clear-cut starters, barring an injury. I think Walt Aikens is ultimately a guy that they develop who could replace Delmas after this year. Michael Thomas seems like another nice backup, but he's a mainstay on STs (probably the best individual player, IMO). Cedric Thompson, to me, seems like a guy who can produce for you on special teams, and I wonder if his making the roster allows you to dump one or both between Don Jones and Jordan Kovacs. I think it depends on how many CBs they keep as well, as they've traditional kept 11 total DBs under Coyle. I've got this as of now: LCB - Grimes, Bo. McCain (slot), Lippett RCB - Taylor, Br. McCain (slot), Bowman S1 - R. Jones, Thompson S2 - Delmas, Aikens, Thomas (slot) I added (slot) for guys that can/will play slot CB in the nickel and other sub packages. I've got Will Davis, Don Jones and Jordan Kovacs as notable cuts.
