    I've noticed that too.

I have personally become convinced that until I get a chance this week to go out there and take a look myself, I will just chill.

I honestly believe that all 3 guys are inconsistant right now and whether that changes or not, we'll have to wait and see.

Overall though even if it stays that way then it wont matter who starts and it'll be another inconsistant year from that position which by now we should all be numb to it. :shifty:

I was just showing more of why I think that. Both Green and Parmele are the same height and weight.

One things seems to stand out for me...

Ist it me or there seems to be very little report on how our OL is performing...

I mean all we see is that our QBs are struggling to get rid of the ball quickly, but they never seem to mention how? We have seem many reports where it says that our Defense is way ahead of the OL, and that is fine, but they fail to say where our Offensive issues are...

Is the QB play just the only one? Is our OL blocking consistantly for our RBs? Blocking consistantlyl for our QBs?

I have read at times when some of the reports state that a QB took a sack or a would be sack. Other than that, the reporters never say why?

I wish we would have a report, from our reporters at camp or from the media, that gives us little more info on our line.

Maybe our OL is one of the reasons why our QBs might be struggling...

In the blogs it stated how Long had trouble with speed rushers. He was saying how once he gets his hands on the rusher, its over but the speed rushers give him trouble. Also, it seems that we may be blitzing some as Anderson has gotten a few sacks on our rotating QB's.

The QB's are having trouble throwing the ball. They seem to be very flat according to reports. Also, Merling has gotten his hands up and that doesn't help the QB's as he has a very long wingspan and is tall. I believe he has batted balls down.

Beck isn't a rookie and he played in games last season, he shouldn't be playing on the same level Henne is whose a rookie. Not to mention Beck was a high 2nd round pick last year, he should be playing well enough to get positive attention and have shot of the starting QB job.

IMO Beck won't be anything more then a 2nd string QB in this league and he hasn't done anything to make me think otherwise.

So the pressure is getting to the QBs?

Could this be one of the reasons or the reason all our QBs have had problems?

I have not heard of Sporano using this excuse as to why his QBs are struggling. Why? Is a good question the media should be asking him...

Yeah, there is pressure being applied by the pass rush.

Probably. They seem to have happy feet.

I doubt you'll hear any type of excuse from Sparano lol. There's no excuses. He said it himself in a article a couple days ago. "There will be no excuses", that's what Sparano said.

Well I can see your point, Henne is realistically a ROOKIE and BECK is not...

    A quote from Sporano:
Beck started 5 games and played about 14 quarters...

But the reality and fact is Beck was never given the time (playing and or practice) to adjust to the NFL. By adjust I mean properly taught and given the tools to use in helping him be successful...

Now, here he is again in all actually he is splitting plays with the first team of a new regime with mostly new players, new coaches, new plays and new terminology... no excuses... I agree...
He only took few snaps with the first team under Cameron last year, and got thrusted into the starting spot by default...

Now he and Henne are "NEW" to the players and personnel on this team... So he is starting from scratch... so they can have a better chance of success...

Ohhh... one thing or the last thing... McCown... yes he has been in the NFL for over 6 years now, and... he seems to be struggling also....

I just hope we have a starter in the 2 rookie QBs...

Ahh... the good old days when the Huskers were good....

    but I digress...

There are quite a few things to be excited about so far, and our running game seems like it's going to be great. The RB's are looking very good, and the run blocking of the OL doesn't seem like it is going to be a problem by any means.

I hope the QB issue resolves itself soon, but most likely it will be just as Sparano says and be a battle all thru the pre-season. If McCown wins, we are in big trouble. It will mean that Beck is a failure and Henne will be rushed to get up to speed so he can be brought in as soon as possible to try and salvage whatever season is left by then.

I still hold out so hope though. As has been stated before, the defense is supposed to be way ahead of the offense this early in the season. I think the fact that the running game is as strong as it is so far says a LOT for the talent there. If we are still getting reports like this after the 2nd or 3rd pre-season game I will be surprised.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the media is going to write about what gets them the most attention. I would say the majority of the fans want to see Henne be the next Marino, so the majority of the local reporters will bias things against Beck and focus most of their reporting on the QB situation.

Because of this (as has also been mentioned by others) I really look forward to hearing what our members here report from their personal visits to camp.

Keep up the good work guys and gals!!! It is MUCH appreciated

You being a Husker fan was my comparison of Green to Parmele accurate?

Bwt I agree with the Qb situation it is I wouldn't be surprised if we got Ricky and Ronnie over 1500 yards.

Honestly I think McKown wins it also but I believe if he struggles their just going to try Beck then if Beck doesn't provide a spark then Henne.

God the QB situation is horrid :(

I haven't really watched enough of Parmele to give that assessment, but I guess it's fair from the snips I have seen so far.

If the OL performs as well as we all hope, they may just make Ronnie's goal or 1000 yards each... and they made need to if someone doesn't step up as a QB. I honestly HOPE McCown doesn't win it, but FEAR that he may. IMO Beck winning the starting position would be the best for the Dolphins right now.

Yeah that Parmele only shows so much. Maybe I'll find out once pre-season hits.

Honestly I hope Ronnie can play all 16 games this year and get at least 1500 yards and 12+ TD's. I think Ricky if he runs like he did when won the rushing title could put in 1K also.

My fears are realized reading each camp report. Beck isn't impressing all that wll. If you ask him to run check down plays then yes but if the safety blanket isn't there then he is below average. Henne is a rookie I don't expect him to win it. I do think based on experience McKlown wins it.

You're going to get bias from any angle.
Lets say a fan goes to camp and he doesnt have a high opinion of Beck, he might still bash him.
