Looking to trade 5.151 for a TE that could be capable of starting or at least providing depth. If interested, feel free to send me a PM
I'm not sure if that's good or bad though. I want to be subtle and smooth, but if it's too obscured it may be overlooked.
Love the Derrick Lott pick. He was the 4th player on my board, well technically the 3rd since I had two receivers taking up one WR slot [ultimately went with Jamison Crowder who's pretty close to being a John Brown clone]. I don't know that I'd call Lott a deep sleeper though. lesser known perhaps but not a deep sleeper, as it wouldn't surprise me to hear his name called in round 3 much like Khyri Thornton's was last year. Similar players. Regardless, great pick. I have Lott right there with Davis Tull for the top small school defensive impact players.
I like the Darren Waller pick. Thinking he may be more Demaryious or CJ then Stephen Hill when looking at that Georgia Tech lineage of tall talented wr's.
Waller was gonna be my pick --- :sadpanda: once again. Oh, well.....he played in that god awful tech offense.....i think he's a star in the making.
Waller was 2nd on the auto-draft bulletin I turned into GIK earlier. Ultimately though, with 2 big-bodied receivers already in Kenny Britt & Marquess Wilson and with Brian Tyms being a serious sleeper in New England [hence being stashed on my dynasty team], I went with Jamison Crowder who should start seeing more draft love shortly. So crisp, smooth, and precise in his movement ability. As close to a John Brown clone as we'll see this year. Pairing Crowder's 4.39 speed with his silly ability to hold his route stem until the very last millisecond, he's gonna give NFL corners half as many fits as he did those from Senior Bowl week, and that's still a lot of fits.
I took Thornton in the 7th round last year in Mach's league and was surprised when he went in the third to my Packers. Didn't hear a lot about Thornton this last year though. Been hearing good things about Lott. Many scouts have been noted to say his name first when it comes to small school guys. So we'll see.
FYI, if my pick comes up tomorrow I'll be at a funeral (grandma was 94) and Tuesday I start a new role (promotion! ) so I'm not sure how available I'll be. Talk about an emotional roller coaster.
Ughhhh damn Jags. Was really hoping I was the only one who had Bobby Richardson on the radar. Poor man's Aaron Donald. Fantastic pick.
Why did Diggs have to get taken? He was the WR that definitely interested me most for the last round or so.
I can't believe, with the emphasis placed on WRs in the GML, that Diggs fell this far. He's a good player.
When I look back on it I think I'll be happy with my draft class, but I'll know that there are a couple guys out there that I would have just loved to have had
I think Diggs is penalized in the eyes of some (unfairly, IMO) because he hasn't lived up to his five-star billing from high school. He's been a productive WR his entire career, just not dominant. But he's versatile and explosive, so I thought he was a nice pickup in the 5th. Would've had him as our top WR in the 5th if we didn't take Tre McBride the previous round.
Yes, I am aware that I'm on the clock, just trying to sort out some trades and what not. Sorry about the wait
