There's a few sites to download the games in HD after they air which is perfect if you're busy, but you have to go through your day avoiding sports sites and channels until you watch it to avoid spoilers. I'm downloading the Detroit Dwade clinic right now on my iPad, streaming to my apple TV.
Shane Battier: "Pacers had that little brother thing with us and they really wanted us to know that that "hey..we are good too"..and we just never acknowledged them....It drove them freakin' insane."
The dropoff from Whiteside to Bird is HUGE. Feel it all over the floor. Jeez. Staying in this with some scrappy defense. Good work getting hands in the Spurs' faces and not allowing any easy passing lanes. Keep battling.
I didn't realize that dunks would be off limits for Whiteside. At one point in lieu of dunking the ball he just jumped so high that he two-hand threw it down through the hoop without touching the rim. The guy's incredible. That steal and fast-break where he faked and spun on Kawhi Leonard would have made one HELL of a highlight if he were allowed to dunk. He had to try and lay it in because of the hand. I thought his rebounding and ball handing were about as sloppy as I imagined, fumbling with the ball with that flipper of his. But I was flat shocked how well he shot, the touch he showed. I bet my prognostication about his free throws would have come true if he actually got to the foul line at all.
His ball handling seemed fine to me...but he had issues grabbing rebounds (although he did anyway), but I thought it was interesting that the team that never fouls (Spurs) decided to foul the hell out of him on every single rebound he grabbed or tried to grab.
Ballhandling 101 by Steph Curry. Ive heard of knee or hip replacement surgery...now Chris Paul needs Ankle Replacement surgery.
Shabazz Napier had some pain at practice...diagnosed with a Sports Hernia....needs surgery...he is OUT for the season. This season has been something.
Napier being out doesn't make much difference to this season since he wasn't playing anyway, but I do wonder if he has a long term future here or not. Tyler Johnson has been a far better player than him.
So, a guy who just had a collapsed lung a week ago is going to play tonight (Terrence Jones), but a healthy Dwight Howard isn't. What a f..king joke. $22 mil well spent.
Harden - 51 points, 8 rebs, 6 assists, and a win. Demarcus Cousins destroyed our front line of Joey Dorsey and Clint Capela. It sure would be nice if our $20 mil Center had some balls and actually played.
51? He needs to pass the ball more and get teammates involved. Selfish player, obvious why okc let him go.
Wade and Kyrie both questionable for tonight (illness). Love I believe also questionable (back). I'm questionable (babysitter) but have seats 2 rows behind the Cavs bench so I'll give you guys reports on if LeBron is allowed to call plays or if the bench acts like a big meanie to Kevin Love.
Wish him a happy and healthy holiday, but don't wish him too much luck on the season for us Heat fans. Nothing against Blatt.
Okay how awkward was Wades fall? Did it look season ending? Im at gym and getting that notice on my phone from espn scares me .
Wade plants his right pivot foot, and it rubs awkwardly on the wood like a dry rub, until his right leg is extended and his right half is doing a splits. Join a 24 hour gym and not miss heat games on natnl TV bro.
The Rockets look horrible tonight. I don't even know how we are in this game. Dwight is garbage. He makes no difference whatsoever. We need D-Mo to get healthy; he should be the starting Center.
It was an ugly win, but the Rockets got it done. On another note, Josh Smith has turned out to be a great signing. For the right price, the Rockets should re-sign him. I thought he was soft like Dwight, but he has proven me wrong. Smith, Harden, Ariza, and Brewer have been the core. They continue to get it done.
