Why? He's been right on everything so far. The one prediction he made was that we would have Ginn's family and look at us now.
Jared Gaither is there. He has been very impressive in the off-season activities thus far. (Yes, I know, you want to see what he does in a real game)
Mendenhall? I think he will be good for Steelers but there is concern with him. One thing that he has had problems with is work ethic. In Illinois, he didn't have much of a work ethic until their top RB from the year (before he started) left. Once he was handed the position by default, he gave it his all. Whenever he's a backup, he doesn't try hard. There was a report earlier this off-season that Mendenhall pulled his hamstring in an OTA or some off-season activity. Tomlin questioned his work ethic because he didn't think it was that serious or along those lines.
Also, last year Ogden played in 11 games but was banged up all year I believe because of that toe injury. I think Gaither could fill his void pretty good. Here's a stat for you. In the five games Ogden missed (weeks 2 through 6), McGahee averaged 89.6 yards rushing a game. In the games that Ogden played in, McGahee averaged 94.8 yards per game. Only a 5.2 drop off. In the games Ogden played, McGahee averaged 3.9 ypc. In the games Ogden missed, McGahee averaged 4.44 ypc.
