Whiteside is effing scary. Team is 5-3 since the All Star break and two of those losses were by 2 points each. They've got something. But IMO the biggest weaknesses continue to be: A) When they put the "B" team on the floor, good teams are likely to open up double-digit leads B) Can't make threes Don't know how you fix those but if they were fixed then the El Heat would be actual East contenders even without Bosh, IMO.
Anthony Davis returned from shoulder injury: 39 pts, 13 boards, 8 blocks, 3 steals Plus, he hit a bunch of clutch jumpers down the stretch.
Bird looks completely gassed. No resistance when he was in tonight. What else can you say about Whiteside? A future all pro, MVP candidate if he averages over 20 pts, which is certainly possible.
I don't agree. They're playing Deng at the 4 and Walker at the 3 and that actually works fine WHEN Henry/Bill/Bootsy Walker is actually hitting threes. The formula would be working just fine.
Yeah and that's forcing Billiam to shoot high volume for low percentages and Deng to bump uglies with the big guns. That's not good.

Full of what ifs, but we have youth for once, and saying we have a legit C might be a dis to Whiteside. What do we do in the off season to improve? Were ****ing set at every position with Bosh back.
I mean, if you throw away Dragic's first game as a member of the Heat post-trade, El Heat are 4-2 the last six games and both losses were 2 points. They're outscoring opponents 620 to 587, a 5.5 point differential. Weak schedule but not bad. If it continues to get better, who knows. Not a contender until/unless the things I mentioned get better tho. That "B" squad gets in with Chalmers, Johnson, Anderson, Beasley...it gets rough. Starts to look sloppy as hell out there. Against good teams they'll be exploited hard. And they still can't make threes.
Great thing that in the playoffs...rotations get reduced to 9 and usually as low as 8. I am READY...to chase championship #4 with Dragic/Wade/Deng/Bosh/Whiteside....McBob/Bird/Rio/Free Agent/Free Agent
I agree, I don't think he's a great coach but I think he and Lebron are buds..........not that Lebron is running the Cavs..
