Which is funny cuz when he was hired we kept hearing about how he could adapt to anyone. Love needs to be more involved. Period. He has struggled, but they are wasting him completely, it's insane. Get the dude the ball on the elbow. Before the season I thought Kevin Love was designed in a lab to be a pick n roll partner with LeBron and Kyrie - and somehow Kyrie has found a niche while Love hasn't. Also super weird trend - Kevin Love at home - 59% TS% (46% FG% and 40% 3P%) Kevin Love on the road - 52% TS% (40% FG% and 31% 3P%) Not sure what to make of that. I know it's not a huge sample size - but it's been consistent most of the year. Might be more important than originally thought for Cavs to grab 2nd seed so they have homecourt tfor as much of playoffs as possible.
I wasnt able to listen to the broadcast when the game was played but saw some highlights just now. There isnt a bigger frontrunning fan out there than Mike Tirico. Good lord.
OMG...that would be a disaster. Mark Jackson managed to have a constipated offense with GOLDEN STATE. They were 12th in Off. Eff. ! (They are 2nd now) Think about that.
Princeton Offense requires a 5 man unit executing flawlessly to one end. If they ran HORNS...and simplified their offense...it would feature 2 very good players at ALL TIMES....so...either..you rely on Tristan and JR to set good back picks...or you just rely on Lebron James and Kyrie Irving to run a 2 man play correctly. Take your pick. LOL. it really is true that coaches REALLY think they make a huge difference, and they loath empowering their players, because they think they deserve the glory for success.
Harden suspended for tomorrow's game against Atlanta. What a joke! Like McHale said, the most dirty play of that game was Lebron shoving Patrick Beverly's head into the ground. From that point, everything was fair game. They can go to hell.
I think with Wade, the big picture needs to be taken in to the consideration. Rarely does he "start" hsit, but he certainly doesn't back down from people. So likes of Simmons love to holler that he is dirty player and whatnot, but most of his plays are retaliations, whether its shoving Hamilton's old *** out of bounds, or jumping on KG, or the Westbrook foul, all of those things are retaliations. Now I am not saying it is right, but I don't blame the man for standing up for himself.
Let's be honest, that's much more than standing up for yourself...but hey, I'm ok with it...the team I grew up rooting for's coach would come after your *** if it came down to it.
I'm guessing Simmons has a particular gripe with Wade dragging Rondo down and busting that elbow in 2011.
That's in your eyes. Im sure in his eyes, he is standing up for himself. I mean, he is from South Side. First thing he points to when the subject comes up
**** Whiteside plays with a ton of emotion. Hope he doesn't get ejected here. Either way, love our energy tonight!
Really wish Whiteside could have kept his composure and stayed in this game. He was dominating tonight. Oh well. Love his energy as I said. Hope he learns from this. We can't afford to lose him.
Very chippy game and while the Suns have lost two, they still are deeper than us with Whiteside gone..
Brandon Knight has looked very mediocre since the trade to Phoenix. I don't think that will last long.
It's crazy. Errgh. Phoenix is the type of no-defense opponent where his energy shows up big on the scoreboard, too. Would've been nice to see him get some consistent burn out there the next few weeks. Just another bump...jeez. Let's just hold onto this thing. Cmon...
I've been *****ing past couple days where has TJ been in the lineup... and now he finally gets minutes and produces..
9/12, 23 points 2/2 from 3 PT range... and he's athletic and can finish, there's no reason to keep a guy like that on the bench.
