Imo if he has to play OT we are screwed. He's played 4 positions in 2 seasons, thatd be tough on anyone. Give him one position to focus on and I think he'll do fine. Let Smith and Turner fight for the other OG spot.

He is one of highest paid punters in the league, and ranks in net average in like the 20s last season. Not a good return on the investment.
I agree..he had a down year..that is why we nevotiate with him for less money to stay..based on his career so far..why not give him another chance with less money on the table for him but maybe with some bonus money thrown in of he meets certain goals.
Wheeler has some value if you use him correctly. He's strictly a blitzing LB. He shouldn't be on coverage ever. If cutting him now doesn't save much money might as well keep him another year as depth and only in blitzing situations.
agreed. if he's not saving money by cutting, then keep him as a backup. He's better depth at backup LB than anything we've had in awhile.
