It'd never work out. Every single time I'm around him, all he talks about is Clay Matthews. I mean, granted, Matthews does have beautiful hair, but he doesn't have to talk about it all the time, you know?
Damn Alex did Donald Brown dirty. Oh you're about to get signed, **** that. Good luck finding a team now.
It's pre-emptive. You know it's going to happen sooner then later. I just hate it when someone drags it out waiting to the last hour and minimum bumps it.
Broncos would like to make a special welcome to Henoc Muamba. We are extremely surprised he was cut by Todd, as he is the type of player Todd usually talks up as an under the radar guy. I put his measurable and how they compare to ILB prospects this year in quotes and my own summary of why he's going to be a steal below with key points bolded as well as some of his background info for the 99% of people with no clue who he is. Overview: Unfortunately CFL Combine/Camp results are extremely hard to find and these were the only numbers I was able to come up with. However I feel they demonstrate the athlete Muamba is. Remember that these numbers are from after his Candian College days where he played for...wait for this one...The St. Francis Xavier University X-Men in Nova Scotia. A school with 5,100 students. There are high schools in the USA with better training programs than this school he attended. After being born in the Congo and growing up in Nova Scotia not even playing football until high school, he became the #1 pick in the CFL draft. This is an unpolished kid who has defied all odds in his life and made it to the NFL. There is a world of untapped potential in Muamba we will help to unleash here in Denver. Side Note: He was originally signed by the Colts last season and the same GM who also uncovered stud LB Jerell Freeman from the CFL after his first NFL stint didn't work out. The plan last year was always to sit him on the bench. He needed time to grow, time to learn NFL defensive concepts and time to adjust to the new rules and speed of the game. In his own words the hardest part of the transition has been "The TE position" which is not used in the CFL very much. He was often used in coverage on backs and even receivers at times, but that was a huge new test for him. He flashed very well last preseason and had one great goal line play where he stuffed Chris Ivory at the goal line in a head on collision. After researching this player I am not only happy to land him in GM League but wish him luck in his real life pursuit of greatness. From all I've seen and read in this short time he is a great kid with a great attitude and great head on his shoulders. A far cry from most of the spoiled athletes we see today. Born in the Congo, growing up in Nova Scotia, becoming the #1 CFL draft pick and making his way to the NFL....Muamba is a winner in life and on the field. That is the type of player we value here in Denver.
