Game looks great, but I hate the way he holds the lightsaber... I know it's a small detail, but it's very obnoxious and I can't let go.

BTW ... this game is supposed to have a killer plot that bridges episodes III and IV. Not only that, but the developer says it will cause players to look at the original trilogy in a startling new light! :D

When they showed previews at SW Con, I had no idea they were actually going to make it into a movie rather than just a TV series. Unfortunately, they didn't reveal much about Force Unleashed there.

I know, I thought it was a TV miniseries, not a theater release, thats awesome.

As for the game, hopefully it will meet most expectations, hard fanbase to please, but im expecting good things from all ive heard so far :)

The star wars mythos has the potential to live on in movies for a long time, but if they don't do anythng soon there will be no mark hamil, carrier fisher, and harrison ford to hand it off to the next generation. However if they continued to make cartoon movies like this one, it wouldn't bother me one bit.

agreed, I think animated is the way to go personally. Most of the new movies seems CG anyway.

Yeah I love animated stuff, can go so many different ways.

I think they did try and get the new trilogy to be the handoff from the Hamill/Ford/Fisher days, but hell they are just terrible for the most part, I fee bad for Ewan. Natalie Portman and Hayden Christenson have the chemistry and acting ability of a pair of rocks, and throw in crappy things like Jar Jar, it was just a mess all around.

This things looks pretty badass though. I would be interested to see if they could put any of the Zahn books into animated movies well, those kicked *** :)

In one duel, your former Jedi Master will split a construction factory in half and you'll be fighting upside down. You'll be fighting Darth Vader on the Death Star at the end. There's a lot of emphasis on redemption towards the end and if you're a SW fan who's followed the EU, you'll get a lot of the references especially on the Corellian Treaty.

It's here for pre-order: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Force-Unleashed-Del/dp/0345499026/"]Amazon.com: The Force Unleashed (Star Wars): Sean Williams: Books[/ame]

I've read the Mass Effect novel as well, Bioware sure knows how to create a universe.

Yeah, im interested to see where they go with the Collectors, and also was very excited to have so much Quarian involvement, for me they were one of the most intersting species from the first game.

    SW movie out friday
