Yah I got a few PM's about Davis when I originally got him. I had to look him up like Paul did when I was offered ;) Timing and luck sometimes.

My biggest worry was that someone was going to jam it up with a draft pick add-on to the trade. Luckily everyone agreed to straight up player swaps.

I know. I had to go diving into whatever video I could find on him. He's going to be a surprise player this season. I wouldn't be surprised if he cracks double digit sacks.

I also had to find out from GIK if I was going to take a cap hit trading an ERFA for the 2nd time. He confirmed only the first trade gets hit with the dead penalty.

Well I'm pretty much ready for FA and draft. Only thing left to do is move Manning.

I have to play FA very very carefully. Got roughly 9-10 things I'd like to do and only 6 draft picks and $14 million to work with.

I'm at 14 as well but if the deal for Manning I have goes through ill be around $26 million free. But with a defense to build in a few spots.

Never said it won't be Mariota. Just that I'm leaning towards Winston.

Marriotta would be a great pick...in round 4....where his accuracy and ball security fit.

Which is why he's a distant second. But if Winston was arrested or something I'd have to take Mariota.

Young slot WR Jarius Wright and/or Young SS Jon Cyprien can be moved separately or together in a deal for a starting OG, TE, MLB, or CB. Willing to take back salary

What I don't get in that picture of Winston is that the guy is holding that leash around his waist, one of those bungee tethers that they work out in... if he's working on his drop back passing, isn't he going the wrong direction? But then you say he is posing like that for the camera... but as we all know that's a really chubby look (Eric Cartman says "hey!"). So I reckon they did that on purpose because they don't want him drafted in the top of round 1... but rather a team that will put him on the bench for at least a year.

Im sure he is working on his footwork in the pocket in the picture. I know we dont see it much with Tannehill, but its much better for your QB to step up in the pocket to avoid pressure and deliver the ball.

Made this trade for a couple of reasons, to get younger, and praying for that restructure on Revis lol

edit- Also hold the #3 overall and guaranteed an elite defensive prospect.

Pretty sure restructures only apply if the player is on the original team...at least thats how it was in past years. One of the couple of reasons Ive held Ngata (aside from the fact hes actually good and fits the scheme).

Are we allowed to trade players after they restructure with their original team? Just cause it was bound to be asked....

Correct. And if you use a June 1 allocation on a player, you cannot re-sign him in cut free agency.

Damn you guys and your ability to cut your kickers. I got a $2.5 million kicker that would actually COST me more to cut. Damn you dead money!
