That's what gives me hope that it's not just a statistical anomaly. It would make sense if Bosh, Wade, Whiteside and Deng on the floor together meant really good things both offensively and especially defensively. As you say, three All Stars and an efficient fourth. It's weird though that the unit was so much better with Cole as that 5th guy even if just for 12 minutes. If we're to assume that's not just pure noise, which it probably is...could you find a reason for that, if you had to?

Sure. In that lineup, Cole would have next to ZERO latitude to shoot the ball, and would be playing at the only role he excels at....a defensive specialist.

Barkley ripped into the Rockets last night and said they are NOT a contender. I have not looked at it yet...but Barkley is a grade A idiot and wouldn't know what a contender is if it bit him on the ***. So I will provide some answers: #12 in Off. Eff. #6 in Eff. FG% #7 in Def. Eff. #23 in Def. Reb. Rate #10 in Reb. Rate #1 in 3 pt. FG DIff. #8 in Pt. Diff. #9 in Eff. Diff. Overall....RIGHT NOW..no..not a Championship Contender. But those numbers are deceiving because D12 has missed so many games. He alone would help the Def. Eff., and Def. Reb. rate, as well as improve Off. Eff. My GUESS...is that they do fix those issues and are playing at a contenders level by April. SO yeah...Barkley remains an idiot.

Rockets and Suns are the worst teams in basketball . At the beginning of the year, he said the Rockets would be a lot worse than we were last year and we wouldn't make the playoffs. Well said. I agree, we have some work to do. We're sitting 3rd in the west, and we haven't even been playing good basketball yet (besides Harden). If mediocre play has gotten us this far, I can't wait to see what it looks like when it clicks.
