We don't win the title that year without the ***-whooping that Wade put on in San Antonio during game 4.
Why are two Knicks fan arguing with each other about the Heat and Heat players?!?!?! Bizarre twilight zone type of sh*t!
Because I was bored and wanted to talk basketball. I feel filthy talking positively about the heat. May need a long shower to wash the filth off...
You underestimate the odd unity that exists in this state, we are like Texas...we think we deserve our own country.
Im willing to lay some solid odds to anyone who still thinks it's proposterous the Cavs win the East. We can Venmo Boik the escrow, thanks
Tyler Johnson signed for the rest of the season: http://sports.yahoo.com/news/johnson-signed-heat-still-await-wades-return-215815246--nba.html
Hope he keeps it up, just needs to get more confident with that jump shot and keep attacking. If he does that, we got ourselves White Chocolate lite.
Motiejunas has already missed his first 3 free throws. Don't start that s**t tonight. I hate Portland. We need a blowout win.
Harden is the only player that showed up ready to play (20 points at halftime). Lamarcus Aldridge is kicking our a**. The Walking Dead is back on tonight. I'd rather watch that.
Dwyane Wade is at the very least, the 4th best SG of all-time. He brought this city, 3 Titles. Dan Marino might be the 5th best Qb of all-time. he brought this city 1 SB berth. It's not really close. Wade is the greatest athlete in Miami Sports history.
the biggest piece we sent to LA for Shaq was Lamar Odom.....who we ......signed in Free Agency. The only way the Lottery matters is if you have a top 3 pick or if a once in a lifetime draft comes around like 2003. if not...ignore the Lottery.
they are injured. Young Talent? They found an all-star center that is 25 years old. Ask yourself...who knows more about how to win in the NBA?....Fans of a team that Forbes called the 4th most successful in NBA History...or a Wizards fan.
In the meantime, Kirk Goldsberry just went on LeBatard and compared Whiteside to David Robinson. Also agreed that he is likely to get a max contract. Only negative is that apparently some in the Heat, who text LeBatard, are questioning his toughness a bit saying "he's no UD" in response to Dan asking if he was kind of a wimp for missing games with a sprained ankle. Get out there and show 'em Hassanity
Meanwhile: Windhorst continues to hate on Miami. He even sprinkled in some NYK hate here too. Claims that Whiteside isn't making a difference and Phil was a terrible decision for NYK. Can't stand this clown. http://miami.cbslocal.com/2015/02/09/windhorst-hassan-whiteside-not-actually-making-a-difference/
I'm pretty sure beyond the plus/minus that we're a top 10 defensive efficiency team since Whiteside started playing. But it's stupid Windhorst stuff. A 25 year old, out of nowhere big man isn't going to singlehandedly turn a team around in 20 games. We'll see what we look like when/if we get healthy and the Whiteside/Wade/Bosh?Deng lineup gets to play a lot together
Also, a nice article on Grantland about Hassanity: http://grantland.com/the-triangle/hassan-in-wonderland-the-heat-center-on-his-breakout-season/
How is it "twisted" when I compare both players' resume and decide that one of them has a much better one? Isn't that the whole point?
I love Dan Marino and watching him was a huge part of my childhood, but he retired 15 years ago. Kids growing up today never even saw him play. In the meantime, Wade has been to 5 Finals
And was a Finals MVP...was going to be a Finals MVP in 2011..and had heroic moments in all of the rest.
I have a game used autographed jersey of Marino in my office. I love Dan Marino......but I can't lie to myself.
I guess you could argue whether the biggest piece was Odom or Butler, but there's no way that deal gets done without Butler being a part. As for the only way the lottery matters is if you have a top 3 pick...Guys like Russell Westbrook, Paul George, Klay Thompson, Damian Lillard, Steph Curry, Demar DeRozan, Kevin Love, Joakim Noah, and Mike Conley probably disagree. I realize having a lottery pick doesn't mean you'll get a player of that caliber, but it increases your odds. Not to mention, it's a valuable commodity as a trade chip. Also, that 2003 draft was only seen as one in a lifetime because LeBron, Melo, and Darko were in it. Bosh was also seen as a nice player, but after that those other guys stacked up with what you typically find in the lottery at the time they were drafted. No one thought Wade would be as good as he has been. Many people had Kaman and Hinrich rated ahead of him. In fact, here is Chad Ford's pick analysis: So writing off getting him at 5 because he was in a phenomenal draft is a bit unfair IMO.
Hassanity is back Says he can't jump as high as usual but can get nigh enough to dunk on people. Love this guy
No championship has ever been "drafted". The Spurs are the exception, and they did it with a generational big drafted #1. This is really not a debate.
Yes..Dwyane has some records as well. He owns a Finals record, and is working on a overall Eff. record. and anyway...Marino's records are all gone.
