here is the outlook on these PG's.... Napier....you see the skills. it's obvious that he is a guy you keep around and develop. But he should play limited backup minutes. Chalmers....he is a combo guard. he has proven that he plays well without Wade, AND especially without Cole. he needs to be in his combo role off the bench. Cole....he was a very good defensive specialist and change of pace player. He has now been asked to play PG and we are finding out that he is awful at it. How you fix this? Easy. Trade Cole. Chalmers back to his combo role. Napier goes to 12 min. a game backup PG duty. Find a New guy to take 30 min. a game at PG.
Who is probably Mo Williams lol And I'm not as confident about Napier's skills as you are.. And I loved him out of UConn.. he made me money, I betted on UConn the whole way as they were mostly underdogs in every game during March Madness.. but man.. he's been downright terrible and I'm not even sure if he will be as good as Austin Rivers. lol
Even without Wade, we shouldn't be this bad. How many double digit leads have we blown? Offense is completely disjointed and the defense has fallen apart again. If not for Hassanity this team would be completely unwatchable
Well i like Spoelstra but i cant defend him lately. The fourth quarter benching of Hassan is going full ******. Sure bench him the first 2-3 minutes, but half the quarter is just dumb, arrogant, your spreadsheet is bull****. When your lead is going down by a score you need to call a timeout. I know theyre trying to check Hassans ego but he already had 22/17 with like 5 blocks, trust me his ego wont change whether he plays the fourth or not, he already had a ridixulous great game.
Also our guards sans Wade are terrible at the entry passes to the post. We need to reinvent our offense to feature Whiteside. Bosh may be our best player right now but Hassan's our biggest matchup advantage 9 of 10 nights
Bosh and his average performance won't be in my lineups anymore. Everytime I pick him he blows. Whiteside was $$$$$ though.
Bosh is only good for a lot of points on occasion with Wade out. With Wade in...is the only way I would play him consistently.
The numbers work, but that's because Faried is being underpaid atm. I doubt Denver is OKC level stupid when it comes to trades. NBA 2K15 wouldn't go for that lol.
That would be an amazingly dumb trade for Miami. You don't trade an all star big for a PF with no moves and can't shoot and a PG which there's a 100 of. Lawson is a good player but PG's don't win championships. Elite/all star level big men and wing players do.
I hope this suckening doesn't scare Whiteside from re signing here. Im for the tank but not at the expense of losing him.
Tanking? You're doing it all wrong. Here let me show you what a tank looks like: http://www.nba.com/knicks/roster http://www.nba.com/sixers/roster
Whiteside posted a picture of Dolphin Makl restocking on his jerseys and one of his hashtags says "i just dont want to get cut anymore" .
While it would be monumentally stupid to trade Bosh after giving him the max to keep him away from Houston, 2016 is the expected winning season and that gives you the opportunity to find another big. Jefferson is available in 2016, Millsap is available in 2015 and so is Aldridge. Not sure how the numbers would work but LA would be a dream come true in Miami.
As bad as that play by Cole was last night, they still had the ball with a chance to win the game on the last possession and didn't get it done. This team just isn't very good right now. And while I love Bosh, his tirades are getting a little tired considering his uneven play this year. I mean, how do you go out and complain about the team's play on a night where you go 14 and 5 with the lowest +/- on the team and only take 14 shots against a team with a mediocre-at-best court?
Bosh is LMA with better defense and a 3 point shot. Jefferson is a good offensive player and mediocre defense also. Milsap is a milsap. Hes a good role player but hes just not that good. Hes better in fantasy then in real life imo. Hes really a 6th man on a great team to me. It wouldnt be stupid to trade Bosh...it would be stupid to trade Bosh FOR THAT.
I don't get this Bosh hate. Whole team is struggling aside from Whiteside. Look at the rest of the crap out there playing with Bosh - it's going to be tough for him to get his numbers without Wade.
Jesus H ****ing Christ. You guys really are Dolphin Fans. Bosh IS LA, and better than the rest of the guys you posted. Let's stop this insanity already. Leave that BS to the Fins and their fans.
I'm not really sure if either of these were in response to my post, but I am by no means pinning this season on Bosh, nor do I want to trade him. I was just saying the tirades he has been going on are getting a little bit old. I think the timing of the one last night was interesting as well considering his performance.
Spo is a good coach but he's slow to change his approach/strategy/rotations We need to start playing inside-out more with Hassanity as a 1a option. Right now, when the PGs drive, they don't look for Hassan. The offense, particularly with Wade out, is built to get Bosh open perimeter shots. But because nobody has respect for the backcourt it takes 20 seconds for every play to develop and ends with Bosh holding the ball. We need to change this and it shouldn't take an off season like it did in 2011. Figure it out. You've bee gifted a top 5 talent at Center
Another Magic coach out the door. Thank God, our team has been beyond embarrassing since he's been there. http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/12283965/orlando-magic-fire-head-coach-jacque-vaughn
Lol, I hope not, 'cause that experiment didn't work at all. He needs a few more years of assistant coaching experience to even be considered for a head coaching job again.
Can Hassanity and Bosh save the season tonight? We did beat SA in SA two years ago with just Bosh, while Wade and LeBron were injured.
From Zach Lowe, on Grantland: He didn't discuss what the numbers are with Deng as well, but I know he made a difference also. Even with our atrocious PG spot and crummy depth, the Heat is a pretty damn good team when our guys are actually playing. And we could get even better once we re-calibrate our offense to what our new and unexpected strengths are. If Wade gets healthy and stays that way for a long stretch the Heat will make the playoffs and can at least give it a shot in the first round.
With Deng...it is the very best 4 man defensive combination in the NBA, but it is also a small sample.
With Whiteside out tonight, I don't even know how far I push Bosh. If it looks like things are getting out of hand, I'd probably rest him. Just gear up for a must-win against the Knicks at home. Then whatever happens in Cleveland happens and just try and be healthy for a post all-star break run. We won't need to be that much over .500 after the break to make the playoffs.
