According to Alex Flanagan, Ameer Abdullah said he models his game after Freddie Gore.

    Ever heard of Freddie Gore?

Jeff Luc from Cincinnati looking well in this scrimmage.

According to Charlie Campbell, the Dolphins have met with Denzel Perryman and Danny Shelton (though there are probably more).

One of my fav players in the country. RAC monster, built and moves like an RB, Baylor handed it to him a fair amount, very natural with the ball in his hands and runs through contact, sheds guys in the open field. For Baylor got pretty consistent separation on the perimeter, imo, wins more contested balls than you'd expect. Strong for his size. If he measured in at 210 I'm guessing he lost a little weight to test faster leading up to the draft (he looked bigger to me on the field and is listed in the 220 range). I thought he had a 4.4 look even at 220, very good acceleration.

Little nicked earlier this season, but down the stretch I think he showed a lot more natural pass-catching ability. Showed his competitive edge in the bowl game, as well. He reminds me of Jeremy Maclin in some ways (more physical, less polish, laterally less explosive agility...okay so maybe I'm reaching...).

I do not follow these guys much, but from the little video I have seen from the Senior Bowl, he moves like a Brandon Marshall. I do not even know his height/weight, but that's kind of who he looked like to me....maybe a little more fluid with his movements.

    Is this a bad comparison?

we just have to invest on a young safety, there just none on the roster so its a must we look closely in the draft..Kurtis drummond can play ball, like the way he goes from point a to point b, makes quick decisions, looks instinctive, and tackles very well going low almost always.

I like the decision by nick marshall to switch to corner, I saw a flash today that is worth keeping an eye on, chip kelly likes him a whole lot, and I'm sure may have some plans for him on the offensive side of the ball.

Yucky on Durrell eskridge, don't like the demeanor to want to hit, and once a body is on his *** in the run game, he's done..

I can't agree with you there Max...hes got the size thing thats looks like marshall, but sammie is a lot faster more explosive player, we just have to study his hands, for it is the #1 requirement.

I think this is an accurate eval of the player, we have room for two young draft picks..he's the kind of player you want on your team.

According to Wikipedia, Freddie Gore is a painter. Maybe Hickey will need some painters for the stadium remodeling?

Very fast and efficient runner to go along with the solid build, not a lot of wasted motion in his stride. Interesting prospect.

Per Charlie Campbell, Dolphins have held a hotel meeting with Philip Dorsett and a regular meeting with Garrett Grayson. I don't think we'll jettison Mike Wallace this year, but this year could yield a speed guy who gets a redshirt year to learn. I'm a little concerned however. We're going to have a small receiving unit if we go this way unless someone with a more physical presence is added to the team. Who knows though? If a quick, small receiving unit serves Lazors' offense well then I can't whine about it.

Phil Savage says that carl davis doesn't show it but he thinks from what he's shown in these practices, he's going in the first round.

stef anthony from clemson, odds boy at inside linebacker just got the serious endorsement from charles davis, saying he's shooting up the boards..and thats he's really good.

Chip Kelly loves Drummund and Nick marshall....me too.

this kid Gunter from the U at corner keeps practicing and flashing well..

    Dorsett..Warford..Gunter..Duke..Flowers..Perryman..

this is a lot of talent....one could make an argument to stay at home for 2 of those boys.

Sammie Coates beat him for a nice RZ TD today. During this process of drills and pro-days, etc...If Coates shows marked improvement with his hands between now and the draft, he's going to go first round. He's going to blow up the 40, bench, vert, etc. Kid is a beast. I have a feeling he'll be in the conversation at 14, after White and Cooper go. They don't make many athletes like him. (And for you, dj, he has one of the best bodies in the draft.)

Perryman maybe the most overrated player with a top 2 round grade in this draft.

They're full of all kinds of garbage, like all mainstream candies. Better for your health to boycott them permanently. Simplest things we can do diet wise to help our health is permanently boycott all soft drinks and all mainstream candies. I say mainstream because there are some small chocolate companies that make a pretty decent chocolate bar with high cocoa content. Look for at least 70% cocoa content. If you like the peanut butter chocolate combo, get some organic peanut butter and spread it on some of the good chocolate. Then you can enjoy a nice snack relatively guilt free. Nearly any food or beverage that has a TV commercial is not worth eating.

People continue to knock Coates for his lack of route running at Auburn…but people also said the same about Demaryius Thomas coming out. Coates is a freak of nature at that position…they don't make people like him that size and that fast. He is a 1st round talent in my book. Just a matter of how high he will go…

LOL at Davis talking up Shelton having to take on a double-team to try and stop that short-yardage conversion, and then the replay shows he was pretty much 1 on 1 with Kouandjio who got a good push on him. Davis has such a hard-on for Shelton that he tries to fit EVERYTHING to make Shelton look like the Incredible Hulk and Sarena Williams had a kid together..... and then that kid grew up and had a baby with Mean Joe Greene.
