It is my belief that the major problem with this organization is ownership.

Ross lives in New York and flies down for games and flies right back to New York once the games is over.

The new owners of the Bills, the Pegula's live in South Florida and fly up to Buffalo each week the Bills are at home and then fly back to South Florida right after the game.

Both Ross and the Pegula's obviously prefer to live in the locations they now reside. Since Ross likes New York and the Pegula's enjoy South Florida, I would love to see these owners trade organizations.

This way Ross would not have to leave his home state of New York to watch his teams home games and the Pegula's could drive to Dolphin home games if they wished to.

To me, the trade of Ross for the Pegula's would be the best trade this organization has made since it joined the NFL.

While we are trading owners, perhaps we could also trade head coaches.

While I realize this trade will never happen, you can't fault me for wishing.

I'm not so sure I'd want the Pegula's owning this franchise either. I look at the state of the Buffalo Sabre's the last few years, and I'm not so sure I want that for the Miami Dolphins.

Perhaps they wouldn't be any better, but they certainly can't be any worse.

I don' t follow hockey, so I'm not really aware of how they have handled the Sabre's

I do have a couple of friends in the Buffalo area who are also Bills fans and they seemed to be happy that the Pegula's purchased the Bills. I assume they are even happier after the news that Ryan will be the teams New HC.

Like all billionaires, Ross has several homes around the country. One of these homes is in South Florida but his primary residence is in New York and that is where he spends the majority of his time.

It's just too bad he doesn't have his primary residence in San Francisco, Seattle, or Baltimore . Perhaps if he did, he would be hiring his front office staff from one of these successful organizations, instead of from the lousy Jets organization.

You know there is an NFL owner that sold expired food to his fans, right?

Well, the Pegula's bought the team in the middle of the 2010-2011 season. That season the Sabers finished 43-29-10 (W-L-Overtime Losses). In the following three season, their combined record in 212 Games played is 81-104-27. They also have failed to make the playoffs in each season since Pegula bought the team. Which includes a great record of 21-51-10 last year. This season so far, through 43 games they are 14-26-3, good enough for last place in their division tied for what I believe is the second least point total in the NHL. Also, theyre regarded as one of the least talented teams and systems in the league also.

    Still want Pegula?

Yeah, but he'll call you a racist and sue if you bring it up, so we're just being cautious.

When I attended games, I always arrived early and ate food at tailgate parties. I was never foolish enough to eat the food served in the stadium.

In fact the only time I ever remember eating any food during a game was when my wife and I traveled to London to watch the Dolphins in 2007. We got stuck in traffic on the way to the game and we decided to get some food during halftime.
I didn't get sick, so I guess the food must have been alright.

I have heard many horror stories about the food at sporting events and that is why I have avoided eating in the stadiums.
Of course I won't order pancakes when I'm out either because I had a good friend many years ago who works at Pancake House one summer and he told me what went into the batter on occasion. Take my word for it, it wasn't things you would want or expect to be in your pancakes.

I will gladly take your word for it, but I don't see me flying nearly 6000 miles to buy a pulled pork sandwich.

The next Dolphin game I will be attending will be the next time they play in Seattle. Since my daughter and son-in-law now live in Seattle, I have been assured they will be able to get tickets to the game. Unfortunately at this time, I have no idea when the Dolphins will be playing a game in Seattle.

What has happened with the Sabres (my favorite hockey team) over the past several years (actually decade) has just frustrated me to no end. So many high quality players that have come through and been sent on. Disastrous. They have had enough talent that if they kept it they'd have been Cup contenders.

This is true. As a Boston Bruins fan, I've been amazed at the level of incompetency that the Sabre's front office shows. (Though, my Bruins are looking bad as of late with their FO.)
