That was a great way to close the half. Really impressive. My mind hasn't even made room for the possibility that Dallas could win, so I'm hoping for a nice 2nd half from Rodgers and company.
The flight of the ball appeared to change in the last view... And the view they showed after the commercial showed that he missed tipping it. Damn.
The injury to Rodgers makes him prey to the size and speed of the Seattle defense, in Seattle. A healthy Rodgers makes a great game of it in Seattle; but hurt, I'm not so sure.
The Seahawks would be favorites, regardless. I will be surprised if they don't repeat. They look like the strongest Super Bowl Champion in quite some time.
Rodgers' lack of ability to move is definitely hurting his game. It's a shame that defensive linemen are allowed to stand on him without penalty in exchange for a small donation to the league.
Great drive. I wouldn't have gone for 2 there. 2 field goals beats you now. I know I'm conservative in this way, but I wouldn't even look at a 2-point chart until there's under 5:00 on the clock. Ultimately, I think the Pack render the decision irrelevant with another TD. It looks like Rodgers has turned it on. Adams looked like a video game character on that spin move earlier.
Does Bryant have to maintain control after going to ground or is he down by contact as soon as he hits? I'm glad the rules of the NFL are so clear. I don't trust Steratore, regardless of the rules.
Interesting that Mike P, Mike C, and Jim D. All thought incomplete was the right call. Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk
I have watched enough games to understand from experience, but even though the ball moved, it never hit the ground, did it? I have seen the call go the way it did today on other occasions where the ball never hit the ground, but I think it's wrong. I mean, are we that obsessed with "control" that we forget that the ball needs to touch the ground to be incomplete?
It definitely hit the ground. The argument is whether or not 3 steps is considered a "football move". Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk
Thanks for the clarification. I no longer have a DVR, so I can only re-watch plays at will once Game Rewind puts them up. 3 steps has gone both ways, from what I have seen.
The ground knocked it lose and he had to regrab it. That's why I think it was the right call by the rule book, since he did not maintain possession throgh the act of the catch, or however it is called.
Makes sense. I'm sure I'll get to re-watch it hundreds of times in the postgame. I'm happy about the score, that's for sure.
Wont come from GB though if hes looking for overpay.. adams is going to be a good receiver in this league.
