35-47 396 yards, 4TDs 1 INT. "Clutch" drive to tie the game late, under duress all day, used his legs to extend and create plays, terrific performance on the tail end of a breakthrough season. 86 threads on the HC and just one for the QB we've all wanted since Marino? Seems a bit lopsided, no? Honorable mention to Lamar Miller. Dude carried the load till he could barely walk.
I'm hoping he gets afc offensive player of the week. Haven't I believe Marino and pennington are the only dolphins qbs to ever get that
Great game when he could've easily went into a shell after his horrible int, down 14-0....instead he picks his game up to another level and was all class all day baby. W got our qb. 214 yards away from 4k on the season. Great stuff.
214 yards and 4 more touchdowns away from 4,000 yards and 30 TD passes. Wow what a stat line that would be. Torch the Jets!
I read a tweet from Barry Jackson saying that was the first 4 TD game by a Phins QB since '98 Marino. Pretty sad if true, but good for Ryan.
Tannehill is the Franchise QB & is still rising on an upward curve no where near the final product. he is the real deal, the man, our long sought after answer to the franchise. don't see how this could still be a legitimate question.
I am very excited about next year. We finally get a chance at continuity under good, improving circumstances for our offense. Another year of Lazor is huge, we will be healthy, add new pieces, and have an easier schedule. I'm so glad RT doesn't have to learn a new offense, at least for one more year. Next year should bring even more continuity but the real challenge will be in 2 years when we have a tough schedule because I expect to win the division next year.
Ryan Tannehill is having a season very similar to Aaron Rodgers 2008 season. 28/13 td/int. Even the wins are similar (6 vs. 8). Hope that's a sign if things to come.
He did, I thought the same thing when I clicked on this thread because I saw the game ball given to Philbin in the locker room.
