A little help with 360 exclusives

Dead Rising is pretty good.

 

Mass effect was a lot of fun. Halo 3 was fun but I did not find it worth as much hype as it received.

 

Halo 3, Mass Effect, Forza 2, Ace Combat 6, Lost Odyssey, and more that aren't on the top of my head probably.

A bunch of arcade games: galaxy wars, puzzle quest, etc

 

Mass Effect, Bioshock, Dead Rising but you might lose interest in it, Viva Pinata, and Ninja Gaiden 2.

 

Maybe it's because I love zombies that I like this one so much.

 

Me too its just I hate the restrictions about it.

 

Technically Mass Effect isn't exclusive if you count the PC version.

 

Another vote for Lost Odyssey.

Also you should get Gears of War. Its 40 bucks now. I don't care that there is a PC version. I am looking at console exclusives.

 

OMG a 360 game comes out for PC like a year later...ITS NOT EXCLUSIVE!!!!

 

Forgot about lost odyssey I like that one real well also I think fable is one also, that was pretty fun and 2 looks really good. In Sept. Sacred2 comes out and I am saving my pennies for that one.

 

Not only that, but the price of a PC to run most of the the newer games properly cost way to much. I do play PC games on my rig but some games are just way too power hungry.

The price point between a 360 and a rig capable of running say, Assassins Creed, is one huge gap in price. One other example is Guitar Hero. I have read reviews that have pretty nice machines running it "very" slowly. What would be the cost of a machine to actually run it?

Point is that games released for PC and 1 console should still be considered exclusives. As a matter of fact, I think Fable is still considered an exclusive by many and it is available for the PC.

 

Honestly, I thought Mass Effect on the PC was better than on the 360. I consider exclusive as you need to buy the console in order to enjoy it. MGS is a true exclusive (for now). You cannot get that anywhere else. That is the definition of it being exclusive.

 

I'm sure there is a PS3 emulator somewhere to play MGS.

Speaking of exclusives, The no show at E3 for Alan Wake was pretty disappointing and I hear it's getting **** canned.

Hey I have a ps3, so I am allowed the emulator (not that I have one anyways, but still).

That's true but if he got a 360 I'm assuming his PC can't run these games.

And yes, I know it's not an exclusive but it's not on PS3/Wii/PS2 etc

Either way it goes right into MS pockets no matter what silly definition you want to use. In the end it all goes to MS's entertainment division and reported together.

 

exactly...MS Games for Windows... People act like its a bad thing that MS releases some of their games for pc, but it's only to get the games in the hands of more people.

Here is what I see as exclusive.

A game that I can only play on one system. Such as your only option to play XXXX game is to invest into whatever platform it is on. That obviously includes PC's, and I cannot possibly see how anyone couldn't understand that. Little Big Planet? It is exclusive to the PS3. Halo 3? Exclusive to 360. Crysis & WoW are exclusive to the PC.

Gears of War is not exclusive....Mass Effect is not exclusive....Just as Age of Conan will no longer be exclusive to the PC whenever it launches on the 360.

 

Well I don't play PC games, so to me an exclusive is usually "console" games. I understand what you are saying, but I don't ever consider the PC to be an option, so that could be how someone "couldn't understand that."

Yes if you want to break it down yes, you are right. Our point is that a large percentage of the gaming community don't have a computer that will run most of the releases efficiently.

 

Typically a person will either game consoles almost elusively or game on PCs almost exclusively, the PC gaming market is not really in direct competition with consoles as its almost 2 different markets.

If you don't want to look at it as a 360 exclusive (you're just arguing semantics at that point) just look at it as a microsoft platform exclusive.
