There was this BS controversy last year as well..and the Heat denied they use canned crowd noise.

I have been in that arena. it is LOUD. Acoustics are good and they put up a decibel meter that the fans get into.

    Guys...**** is getting REAL.

Word around the camp fire is that the Spurs will hold firm to their insult of an offer to Khawi Leonard, and will sign and trade him in the offseason if he balks at it again.

    Pat Riley...GO TO WORK.

Is this real life????? artificial crowd noise? Uhhhhhhhhh I was watching the Heat game last night and the arena looked full to me unless they were all "paid actors" too. Steve Buckhantz is just butt hurt.

It's hard to go against the Spurs front office, considering they rarely make a mistake, but I would definitely do whatever it takes to get that guy.

It's interesting that the Spurs don't think he's worth big money.

Obviously the Pacers didn't know exactly how good he was, but they DID give up on him before finding out. And now the Spurs seem ready to give up on him too? It's interesting. What is it about him? That he's so quiet? That he doesn't have the will to put the team on his shoulders?

Incidentally is Ray Allen going to sign with anyone?

I mean, I'd still love him to sign with the Heat. We may have gotten some good 3 pointers last night but they were from unexpected and inconsistent sources. I think not having people that can consistently hit the 3 pointer is going to be a big hindrance this year.

Have the Spurs ever given someone a Max contract? I think they expect him to see that they are a place he can win at and offer him a fair deal. I don't blame them, Max contracts can kill teams. The Spurs have probably been the best run team over the last 10 years or so, its kind of hard to knock their front office.

Tim Duncan was near max before this last extension, but yeah, they never have cared for giving every dime available to anybody.

What they have is the evidence that they have played very well without him and he has had an injury history for such a young player.

My counter argument to that of course is this......had the Spurs won Game 7 vs. the Heat in 13', Leonard would currently be a Back to Back Finals MVP. That's kinda a big deal.

I think there's starting to be a little bit of a backlash to these goofy Lebron ads. The rest of the country obviously doesn't care about the plight of Cleveland.

Oh my, that TNT Lebron return celebration coverage is the height of hypocrisy. Charles Barkley in the middle of it after he constantly and unabashedly criticized Miami for their big 3 pep-rally.

    These people have no shame.

    It's disgusting.

Not the party, but the coverage. Let them have the party. But it should be criticized just like we were criticized.

But it won't. Cleveland was the "aggrieved " party therefor as the victim they can do whatever they want.

Nobody cares about us. We were the home wrecking mistress that got what she deserved. And frankly, LeBron doesn't see his time here any differently. It's why I'm so adamant that he never have his number retired.

We had a mutually beneficial fling. You don't keep mementos or hang up pictures

If the Knicks go 4-78 this year I hope we beat Cleveland all 4x. Lebron just tweeted that this has to be one of the top sporting events of all time. This isn't even one of the top 1000 Knicks games of all time or top 100,000 sporting events of all time. Nothing worse then a person who thinks they are more important then they are and an ego the size of an arena to boot. He is that unlike-able to me.

Right now aside from the Dolphins winning a super bowl, I'd say eliminating Cleveland in a game 7 -in- Cleveland would be my biggest sports fantasy.

It is what I saw from the pre-season and this game so far. The European system they're running favors perimeter, point guards, and skilled bigs. IMO Love, Varejao, Thomson and Kyrie will benefit more, and Lebron and Waiters will need to adjust as more ball dominant and one-on-one type players.

I could see Lebron having a down year statistically even if the Cavs play like a juggernaut offensive team as a whole.
