Sid Rosenberg spent hours talking **** about the Heat on Twitter and then quickly disappeared when the Knicks started getting waxed, lol.

Fun way to get things started. Wiz missing key players, no McRoberts, oh well. Dunno if Cole will do that with any consistency, but hey the start of it is right here. He needs to grow out of the "will he show up" nightly adventure that has been his career so far. Bosh is gonna dominate everyone now that he'll be more featured.

    Damn thats nice. Serious hops.

On another note I think Im looking at a 30 win Knicks team. I know bad basketball when I see it and unless Melo wants to score 35 a night this is gonna be a bad team.

Nah bro, the Bulls are just that good, they will take the number one seed if everyone stays healthy, they would have destroyed us too in my honest opinion. One scarey team that I wouldn't want to play in the playoffs.

Oh I know, I called them the 1 seed in the east a few pages back. I just dont see much on the roster to be honest. Shumpert, Hardaway, Early, got to step up because in terms of vets theres Melo and not a whole lot else.

Trevor Ariza, by himself, has outscored the combination of Asik, Parsons, and Lin.

The 'experts' were right....Houston had a really BAD offseason. Look at all those great players we lost.

2-0 with 2 blowouts. Oh, the horror!

Fantasy is just about stats not personalities.
Plus I like to have a little fun with you and some of the heat fans. I'm not sure I want to ever live in a world where Knicks and heat fans don't have a little friendly banter :).

Bosh was relentless wanting to push the ball off defensive rebounds. Love it!

    Very Nice win.

BTW, Simmons Hate' is pathological. Listen to his latest podcast. Some of the "Hits": "Spurs murdered Basketball in Miami." "Good riddance to that dumb chant they do." (We did it yesterday, BTW) "Congratulations on 43-39, and a 1st round exit!" "I'm glad that Miami doesn't care about basketball anymore."

and This Guy RUNS Basketball at ESPN! Awesome. He has a column, a show, a podcast, and heads gameday coverage! Just awesome.

Did you see Eric Woolworth call him out by name in the Herald? That basically this season is the fan's chance to say "screw you" to him.

    Loved it

That James Ennis dunk reminds me of this one:

    Time-Stamped Version
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=85Yviei9zgE#t=13

Full Video (Fast Forward to 0:12)

Obviously the big difference is that last night's dunk he posterized Rasual Butler, but in the NBL video he was by himself. But that's not the reason I think they're similar.

They're similar in how far from the bucket he picked up his dribble, and how much space he can cross in the allowed number of steps before he jumps for the basket. In the NBL video he actually picks up his dribble right around the 3 point line, and is still able to dunk the ball with authority. In the dunk last night, he's passed the ball right around the 3 point line and never dribbles it once...just takes his steps and he's still able to get to the basket with enough power to posterize Butler.

Ennis is a tremendous athlete. He still needs to be molded into a basketball player.

But he needs to be in the rotation. He brings an explosiveness that we don't have much of.

Napier already is a cool customer out there. Two real nice pieces moving forward

Great win last night. Hopefully we see more of the 4th quarter Wade as the season goes on. Bosh was very good, and honestly I think he can be even better offensively. Cole was fantastic. While it would probably be unfair to expect him to play like that all year, if he can even play somewhat close to that, it will be a huge boon for the Heat this year. It was also nice to see the rookies getting involved. I was shocked that both came in during the 1st quarter. That dunk by Ennis was insane, and Napier continued to look smooth running the point. It could be a very fun year for Heat basketball.

I just hope the team has a chip on its shoulder next year. Like when a girl leaves you and you're all like "Fine. I can make it on my own anyway, ill show you!"

I don't want to see any coasting because we can't afford it.
