I'm on the record saying we would win three strait before the bears, Im not being negative, I just feel we have to do some things differently to become the best this particular offense can be..my suggestions are not ignoring anything, just wanting little more of what were good at.

and I'm not just talking about read option runs PH..Im talking about a synergy of 4 dimensions to start the ball game.

I get you. We just have two diff philosophies when it comes to calling a game.

For me, I don't wanna see our best stuff vs Jax, I like our Ds chances of holding them to low number so there's no need to empty the full clip, it only gives future opponents more film to study.

Did you see Jones give up that TD? Man it was awful lol. If we are gonna talk how to improve start there, I guarantee Rivers doesn't miss that throw...

    Rivers might miss that throw.

    Even great quarterbacks miss throws.

I was most certainly offended by that offence. The Defence is another story entirely.

Did Lazor/Philbin know that Colledge had a migrane going into the game? If not how were they suppose to scheme for something they weren't aware of?

DJ...Omar was breaking down the game after watching it on tape..and he said College was getting man handled on every single snap. At one point...he had trouble walking back to the huddle. Said it was the worst hed ever seen.

This is a good answer. If anything this game can be considered an anomaly. Fins offense avg 25 ppg. That's just outside the top 10 for the year.

Now.. if we play the Bolts like we played the Jags. We're going to get thrashed. I don't think Rivers is likely to hand us a couple pick 6s. O and D need to show up if we hope to beat the Bolts.

Without reading any of the comments above, I was worried about the defense more then the O.They couldn't get off the damn field in the 1st half.
After the game, most of the networks were talking about how D won the game for us.
LOL well, of course they did. Jags ran like 38 O plays before the second half begun.... They had enough opportunities to make a PLAY or two.

Yeah, I was pissed about the defense. Sure, the pick sixes look good, but Jones got toasted and should have given up a td, and they ran all over us, and we couldn't stop a third down to save our lives. The defense got lucky that it was Bortles at QB.

I wouldn't say it was luck. IMO the gMeplan on D was to blitz, pressure the QB into bad decisions and then capitalize. Even before the pick 6s Bortles had thrown some awful passes that were nearly picked.

I'd rather not give up long, time-consuming, ToP distorting drives in the hopes of getting turnovers to save the day (and a missed TD catch)...it worked, but it was the Jags.

    Well away from here
I could care less how we look to a degree. We will have games where we look ****ty, but if we can win those games then it is a positive. There are no style points, just wins and losses. Keep winning games any way we can to be honest.

Perhaps the biggest thing people are overlooking about that game is the team came out of it injury-free.

WADR, no one was asking for that either. I'm just saying it wasn't entirely luck, because we practice for it, that's all.

my bad, rephrase.. why trust pocket throws early, why when you have a skill set like tannehills..move him early so their not taking target practice when their fu":in playing like crazed dogs..

lazor and philbin said he knew they {jags dine} would come out in the first quarter like maniacs, So i guess keeping tannehill in one spot is a better idea then deception with a moving pocket and a mobile qb.

we knew they were coming and we served up the tall lanky not so swift laterally white boy.

and what happenes when you keep tall lanky player who is lethal on the run to both sides static in the pocket....sacks and tipped passes..drive killers.

Honestly, there should have been no need.

I honestly don't think you are grasping how bad College did and how they were not ready for it.

If they knew he was battling migraines, they wouldn't have called different plays, they would have taken him out and he probably would have been inactive.

I am not anit-rollouts. They would have been fine calls. Just that, they should have been able to throw the ball in the pocket. Like they did once College was taken out.

Why do you just assume that we should just call plays from the pocket, on the road, against a team that we knew was good on the front line, and has shown a trend of coming out like gangbusters?

If that doesn't give my take any credence I don't know what else to say..

    Lol..it's so damn obvious..

Hell, Look what they did to us....they knew how good we were on defense, they knew we were gonna come after the rookie, so what did they do that made them so effective on offense early in the game?

Like I said, you keep Tannehill static in the pocket your going to pay for it, especially on the road, especially against good lines, especially because escaping pressure is not his forte, and running and throwing is..

Move the pocket early and often damn it..get this kid to understand that running for a first down can do so many things to a defense and for your own personal game.

My biggest concern isn't the offence.

My biggest concerns is a lack of consistency of effort on both sides of the ball. When the switch is on we can beat any team in this league.

However, in order to win a Super Bowl you have to play at least 3 games in a row with the switch on during the playoffs. I just don't see this team doing that under Philbin.

If anyone is not concerned about the offense, you're not paying attention. Bill Lazor has been calling horrible plays, continuously trying to throw the ball when we should be running it. Twice I recall us going 3 and out and all three plays called? Yep, let's throw the ball. Lamar Miller had only 14 carries in Sunday's game compared to Tannehill's 29 pass attempts. I keep pointing out time and time again that magic number of 25 rushes per game in order for us to win.

Take the 2 pick 6's off the board and our offense put up a mind boggling 13 points, the same number of points the hapless Jags put up.

Our defense has been playing their butts off this season. It's time the entire offensive unit does the same, to include Lazor and the rest of the coaching staff

jesus....why should we take the 2 pick six's off the board, why in the hell should we do that, both units represent the miami dolphins...this defense is playing in the same system for 3 years now, the offense is still having some growing pains learning, but if you don't see any improvement from shermans unit then i don't know....

Back to the OP. This team is not playing fine. You called the media person a tool because he doesn't agree with your thoughts. I guess half the fan base are tools every year, because we all disagree on different parts of the team.

I disagree. Lazor has been nothing short of brilliant. You can nitpick, but in reality we would have scored another TD in a real game. It was obvious Lazor was working on our passing game late, even down inside the five.

Those plays are valuable experience for the passing game.

Id say I'm a bit concerned, but at the same time when you look at how the game went, the Jags moved the ball well on us, ate up clock, and our defense ended up with a pick 6 that put the Jags offense right back on the field after a fairly long possession IIRC. So... I'm not overly concerned with the offence. They had only two posessions. Two 3 and outs sucked, yes, no doubt, but look at that in context of the game too, Colledge whiffed several times, bigtime on both drives that killed them. Once we got him out of there things picked up. I'm a bit more concerned with how well the Jags moved the ball on us. I know the D really won us that game, but the fact the Jags moved it so well concerned me alot too.
