    tough decision at RB2.

Joique Bell vs Carolina [poor matchup but I think he'll be a bigger factor than Bush against Carolina's physical D]

    Fred Jackson vs Miami

Isaiah Crowell vs New Orleans [decent matchup. Should get opportunities as Cleveland would be wise to get both rookie backs involved early and then ride the hot hand the rest of the way, of which I'd put my money on Crowell].

Jeremy Hill vs Atlanta [great matchup and breakout potential for Hill. If Cincy wants to keep Atlanta's offense on the sideline, it'd behoove them to enter a power ground game this week behind Hill, which Atlanta would be less prepared for than Gio. Plus Cincy can't afford to settle for FG after FG again this week like they did against Baltimore when they were content to let drives stall inside the 35 because they can't run on Gio's back as the field compresses.]

I think Fred Jackson offers the highest floor option, which might be the smart route..... but something keeps drawing me to Crowell.

The dolphins can never stop the rushing attack against the bills though I think Spiller is the one that is going to kill us not Jackson

    I'm struggling here...

Need 2 RBs and a Flex out of this...

Charles (will he be 100 even if he plays)
    Asiata
Ellington (49ers give up 80ypg rushing)
    Lamar
    Cordarrele.

Sproles is a locked in RB, Cobb and Wallace locked in WRs. I have to find 3 spots for these 5.

If anyone has Justin Forsett, get him in your line ups. Bernard Pierce has been Ruled out today.

Sounds as if Charles will be out. If its a PPR league Asiata is a starter, Toss up between the rest, Ellington has a tough match up against the 49ers.

I would probably roll with Asiata, Ellington, and Miller. since Patterson has been dealing with a Chest issue.

PPR... Justin Forsett or Shane Vereen? I'm struggling to decide between the two but I'm leaning Forsett with Pierce out.

    D. Bowe is probably my best option unless you like Deangelo Williams or MJD

I would probably start Patterson over Asiata because I imagine it'll be a high scoring affair in New Orleans with Minnesota trying to keep up.

If Bowe wasn't likely facing Grimes I'd play him. I only need 5-10 points in a normal week from each flex to do fine assuming the opponent doesn't have a mega game.

Unless you can start a TE at flex there's no reason to take either. The Jeffery one is close where the donnell one is just someone trying to sell high.

Travis Kelce? Martellus Bennett? Buy low on ertz whitten or Jordan Cameron? Why would you break up a good team for a possibility? There's other ways to fill a concern...

I don't think I could get those other guys with what I'm willing to trade. I think Witten is a FA though.

Edit: Nevermind. He's not. Best available are Niles Paul, heath Miller, d. Allen and Jared Cook.

Stand Pat (yes...Pun) Gronk is gonna be fine, if the offer is still on table when Gordon is close to returning than maybe revisit this.

Gronk's usage has been creeping up. Last year it took until week 5 for him to see close to 100% snaps. This is week 5 and the good news is that he is finally practicing in full this week.

That said, yes, I would trade Jeffrey for Julian Thomas. Either Gronk or Thomas will be a better trade chip down the road than Chicago's #2 receiver.

I personally don't think it's wise to give up an RB1 or potential WR1 for just in case Gronk doesn't bounce back. Since your trade examples aren't contingent on trading Gronk, what's there to be in a hurry about? He could flop and you could still make those trades regardless, so no need to cross that bridge now.

If you're that worried about it, package him with Doug Martin for one of those TE's.

Brees is off and I don't have a legit backup.

    Bortles against the Titans

    Or

    Bridgewater against Detroit.

    I'd go with Bortles.

I held off on the trade. Donnell is a FA now after his 0 showing. Jennings is hurt. If I did a trade, I would've done Jeffrey for Thomas.

Not sure what your flex allows but if you can put a TE in having two is a good thing.

I've had success starting Antonio Gates as a flex with J. Thomas.

.on my end, I feel like Bridewater is the better player but Bortles has the matchup.

That's a tough one. I'd play Harvin and Tate for sure. Both Cobb and Wallace can get deep TD's. I'd go with Cobb since he has the QB advantage.

Well Bortles somehow ended up with around 40 points for me so Im happy with that decision. I'm guessing due to our .5 PPC scoring.

That's a tough one. Hmmm. Denver has been stout against the ground game lately, but then again I think Rivers will do a better job keeping up with Manning than Keapernick & Geno Smith, and if he does get a little behind, Oliver should be a bigger part of the passing game than Ivory & Gore. Branden had a great game last week vs KC but SD for some reason didn't give him as many touches, however, the 3 drives Branden DID receive more than one carry all resulted in scores; whereas the 6 drives he carried once or less resulted in just 1 score. Plus SD went on to lose, so I think they realize they need to do a better job of keeping him involved and will ride him this week, especially if doing so can keep Manning on the sideline.

McKinnon doesn't have a TD yet despite two nice performances, so perhaps this is the week he gets it. If so, it could be a huge points week.

Don't see any reason not to start Hillman. He gets touches AND redzone opportunities.

Tate is always a risk to go down on the game's first play and could lose all the TDs and too many touches to Crowell.

I'd say give it to the 3 you know will get the most opportunity- Oliver, Hillman, and McKinnon.

I agree with Todds thinking on McKinnon choice.

The last three weeks Tate has gotten 22 carries/124yards 25carries/78yards/2TD and 16/36 (they were playing from a few scores down last week). This week the Browns play Oakland which is a sweetheart matchup. Oaklands DL was mediocre before they lost Lamarr Woodley for the year. Hes clearly taken the reigns as the lead back and while there is risk there the matchup is too good to ignore.

IMO those two are no brainers.

Oliver and Hillman can go either way. Oliver has to get the bulk of the touches because there simply is no other option. But Denvers run D is ranked top 3 and gets the fewest attempts against because opponents are always playing from behind. San Diego's D is ranked 15 vs the run but Denver does have a little more of a committe approach it seems. Denver gives up 3.3 YPC tied for 2nd best in the league (theres 5 teams at 3.2 or 3.3) and just under 75 yards per game (again 3rd fewest in the league) while SD gives up 4.5YPC and 106 YPG. To me this makes Hillman the 3rd starter and Oliver nothing more then a TD dependent flex play option this week.

    Thanks guys. Great input.

Todd, interesting stat on drives with oliver rushing, was just from observation. Good one.

I worry about MacKinnon but I think he gets the nod.

I'm gonna sit Oliver and it hurts me to do so. Love that little guy. His dive into the end zone a few weeks ago was so cute.

No that was last season for me. No matter what I picked last season in two of my leagues it was wrong. It cost me a championship too. I sat roddy white the last week of the year and lost by five or so when he was being force fed the ball.
