Part of the thinking in my post...yep.

 

There isn't a better option for us at the QB position right. Guys struggle in the NFL, especially at that position. Tannehill isn't as bad as some of you are making him out to be. He struggles on his deep ball that's no secret, he sometimes can be robotic, but he can also make elite level plays at times and that tells me that we really shouldn't give up on him just yet. At least give him the rest of the season, and my gosh what an early season it is.

Ryan Tannehill made plays today, that I was very impressed with. Some of the throws he made in the second half were outstanding. His play in the pocket impressed me in the second half. The double pump fake throw to Wallace was beautiful. He made plays with his legs as well. Tannehill can ball, and there is no doubt about that. Starting Matt Moore would be the worst thing this team could do in my opinion...especially when we are still very much in the thick of things. It's not like we are sitting at 0-5. We play a very beatable Bears team next week, a team that is on one week and off the next. Jay Cutler can be just as much of an unknown as Tannehill can be at times.
I'm not quitting yet....That was a hell of a game today and I think 99% of us knew what time it was once Rodgers and GB got the ball back with exactly two minutes left in the game. I don't care what defense it is, 75% of the time Aaron Rodgers or any elite QB in this league is going to win the game for their team, and I expected it. He is probably the best QB in the game.

Yes we lost, but I kind of look at it as a measuring stick of how good we can be with this team. We can play with the best of the best in this league when we want to. We are 2-3, not 0-5...The sky isn't falling just yet, though some of you act like it is.

We should probably cancel that trade for Kirk Cousins. I'd still take Wilson, though.

 

For sure what stood out about Tannehill in the 2nd half to me was extending plays a little bit more and not looking like a statue in the pocket. It was almost like he saw Rodgers and was like... "I should try some of that."

Yep Kirk Cousins, Wilson, Foles, Dalton....all guys I consider to be in the same tier as Tannehill...All proven to be human today.Just saw Foles overthrow a guy....Cut him now!
