Your OL can only hold off for so long. At some point, the protection is going to break down. Tanny is not making good reads and getting rid of the ball, nor is he scrambling when he has lots of space in front of him instead of taking an untimely sack. Sometimes a sack is a good thing, but it is rare when Tanny takes one. It's because he lacks pocket awareness(I feel like a broken record on this by now) and whatever coach told him to never take off when pressure is coming. Last year the OL was crap, but at least 1/3 of it was because of Tanny. This year, its much more on Tanny because the protection is there now, he's just not making good decisions, period.

The Bills have an outstanding Dline, but good coaching combined with Tanny studying game film properly against the Bills, and he could've had a better game. Also, we flat out weren't running the ball.

So his protection was there? I saw him getting killed most plays almost as soon as the ball was in his hands.

Some of it was breakdowns, alot of it was Tanny's indecisions.

Some? Idk how anyone can watch the video of all his drop-backs and not agree that our OL got bent over for most of the game.

Unless you mean he couldn't decide which one of the 3 or 4 defenders should smash him first then I totally agree.

Everyone close your eyes right now...picture this...we are 1-2 right now...we win next week and are now 2-2...keep your eyes closed...Pouncey comes back...now our line is at full strength...Tannehill feels good because he whooped the Raiders ***...12 games later we are now 14-2 waiting for the wild card round to be finished...open your eyes...what do you see? I see winners my friends.

Tanny looked lost most of the time, looking at one WR almost every play and/or not aware of the pressure around him. I watched the Bills game, and they weren't all up in his face every single play. He had plenty of opportunities to make plays, he just doesn't seem to have the awareness needed at the position. Most of the sacks I saw weren't from pressure, it was from him standing in the pocket way too long like he was forgot where he was. Its getting hard for me to defense Tannehill when week after week he's still making the same mistakes.

How's he going to scan the field when he has zero time? Then when he does find an open WR they drop the ball.

Not saying he's been that good but to say he's the reason he's getting sacked so often when our OL got completely dominated in that game is Ludacris to me.

Tannehill had several opportunities to make plays and he was horrible. There's no sugar coating it.

More than our WRs who dropped how many passes? Our OL that got beat how many times? OC that made how many bad calls? Coach who gave away how many opportunities?

There's no sugar-coating the need some people have for a scapegoat and QB being the most popular position in the NFL makes it the easiest one I guess.

I'll be surprised if we win 5 games this year. Do you think we'll win more than that?

Exactly how it looked to me. Maybe the receivers weren't breaking open. We cannot see all of them from without the coach's tape. But if they weren't he needs to either run or throw it away. Not stand there far too long, looking unsure what to do next.

The reason our entire team has "sucked from top to bottom" for the last two games is that the coaching staff has failed them.
