    Lemon is a Lemon.

a few stupid things. and you can tell me who to point the blame. Firstly, Running to the ball to spike it to loose a down with 1.10 on the clock, THEY HAD A TIMEOUT!??? WTF

2nd. Why did lemon throw that pass on the bootleg, when he had nothin but endzone in front of him, and then on the following play, NOT GET IN on the boot? thats the difference between a winning QB and a loosing one. BYE LEMON!

I think the fins, need to get rid of a lot of players this off season. I heard one comentator on wqam saying that some of the players after games, couldnt give a stuff they lost, and others get Frustrated and show signs they are hurt by the loss. Its not ok, to play sh*t and still collect your million dollar paycheck.

Camarillo is starting to prove himself as a great slot receiver. that 83 numbers pretty good!

    In Tuna We Trust:001_rolleyes:

we just cant cast away a QB that has some talent and can give us more time to develop a QB, besides a vet who would cost us a pick, lemon could give us more time, he did not throw a pick today

Worst team in the NFL plays best team in the NFL and you are expecting Lemon to turn into superman?? Get back to reality. Lemon is a nice QB. I think we need to keep him.

I think Lemon is what he is....never going to be great, but he is ok. I for one liked Sage Rosenfels when he was here and thought he did a decent job, but other coaches thought DC and Green and other "more experienced QB's" were the answer.

I still think we should take a shot at drafting Colt Brennan in the 2nd round, if he is available. Trent Green's days of holding a clipboard will be over soon, so why not see if a guy like Brennan could be our QB of the future. I think Beck should still have a shot, but the Tuna might decide he is not the answer.

If we are going to draft another QB this year, Lemon is gone. He's a free agaent anyways

No one asked for a miracle but to extend the ball into the endzone would've been nice.

I was a fan of Cleo back in the San Diego days. Camarillo is turning into a great slot receiver. I think we draft a wideout in this years draft or free agency.

    Ginn/Hagan/Camarillo/Draft pick or Free agent.

The quarterback situation is tricky. Beck hasn't proven anything but on this team you can't expect much from him. I'd love to see Phillip Rivers opt out and if Cam stays have him come down here and play but I don't see that happening.

We draft a quarterback weather it be in the late rounds or Brennan in the 2nd and have them compete with Lemon and Beck. Let the best man win.

It doesn't matter who our receivers are since our QBs cant get them the ball.

Yep, I just hope they realize we need a quarterback until further notice.

Camarillo seems to be a playmaker. Sure hands and gets open. I like him on offense...a lot more then I like him on special teams to be honest.

the OPs criticisms are valid. the spiked ball with over a minute left in the 2nd was assinine, although that seems like it would be more on cam than lemon... and i didnt really understand throwing to the covered TE either.

either way, cam got his win, beck needs to get another look. we know we have a career backup in lemon, we need to see what we have in beck.

Lemon is TERRIBLE. He doesn't do any checkdowns, just fixates on one reciver and waits for him to open. He can't see the field at all.

Lemon doesn't have agreat team around him and neither does Beck of course, but Lemon will not be anything more than a back up and with Beck the jury's still out...he can develop but he needs to play....I'm hoping he'll play next week.

well considering how holliday was laughing n smiling when schulters missed the INT that pissed the **** outta me. he got vastly overpaid this last year like the usual bs contracts we gives the CC's the James and Seths of this world. worst talent n players ive seen in my life. if only they had JA, Porters and JT emotions for the game n love

Cleo has not shown any signs of being a good pro QB. He doesn't handle pressure well, he isn't decisive with the ball.

When he should just run with it, he stands too long in the pocket. He misses easy throws and makes throws that should never be made. Rosenfells showed potential at times. After seeing Lemon in all these games, I still haven't seen anything to indicate that he is anything more than a 3RD stringer.

I think Cam will be the first one to go.

Im not upset wtih having lemon as the backup, but I dont think anyone anymore thinks of him as a full time starter. Only reason hes in for Beck atm is because hes got a bit better mobility and game experience.
With all that is going on with the team right now its just not conducive to dump in Beck. Next year hopefully Ronnie will be back, and maybe we will have nice big WR to throw to, and the OL maybe another upgrade.

Its just been a rough season.

While a lot of passes today were poorly thrown there was almost just as many dropped. Our receivers have the dropsies like you can't believe.

QB is THE most important position on the field, he is the leader of the offense and Lemon showed you today why he is a below average NFL QB.
1.Spiking the ball with 1:11 on the clock and a time out left
2.Never making a desperate effort to cross the goal line on a bootleg, jeez if your not going to dive and take the hit, at least switch the ball to your left hand and try to hit the pylon.
3.Use your speed, get outside the tackle and throw the damn ball away when there is nothing there.

For a so called veteran guy he plays stupid.

For QB if Beck isn't the answer, draft a rookie you think is
Get a veteran QB to run the offense for now, Green if he can come back, Pennington will certainly be available and can throw dink and dunk passes accurately.
