I've been looking at preseason stuff on Tannehill, what I have noticed is that he's finishing more on his front leg, which is good, in the past he's stayed back to much, he's got to get his weight on the front side and follow thru there, this will improve his accuracy some because the release point and follow thru will be slightly closer to the target..he still has room to get better in this area.its fundamentally what he needs to do and gives him a more cocksure posture along with it.

I'd be interested to hear Jaworski explain more the "Tannehill held the ball too long in 2013" bit. That seems counter to everything I've read.

I stopped listening to Jaws when he burned me on Beck. He was so far up Beck's *** his mail got sent there.

It's tough to assess temperment and processing speed. Beck had everything you wanted but couldn't ever adjust to the faster speed at the NFL level. What made it more difficult as that his processing speed was never an issue in college.

    Love this...

If we got 28 TDs and 9 INTs out of Tannehill, I have to think we go 9-7 or 10-6.

    - Pats practised against the Eagles so yeah, they've seen faster tempo than what the Dolphins think, actually. Especially because the last two years have shown me that Tannehill lines guys up painfully slowly, even when trailing with a minute left on the clock he'll burn 30 seconds minimum between plays. I'm skeptical that this offense will shock the Pats by being faster than anything they've seen from Chip Kelly's team.

    - Would definitely like to see Ryan barking at people a bit more when necessary. Marino sure did.

    - I think Will Davis picks Tom Brady. I really do. Maybe even pick six. I could see that happening.

    - Unfortunately, I can just as easily see Brady throwing a TD into Jimmy Wilson's area.

I don't think the eagles would run fast tempo against the pats in those practices, I'm pretty sure just the fundamental plays that all schemes have..can't find any logic to say differently.

I thought it was all mental with him. He just wilted game day. He practiced well enough to have several coaches fall in love, but when the bullets were flying...

Same. I feel he had a poor team around him, didn't perform right away and lost a lot of confidence. Not to say he could have been great, but he probably could have been a serviceable starter somewhere with better confidence and circumstance.
