I saw the replay again of the throw, and it looks like a bad throw but IMO it was really on Wallace. It looked like a timing throw and Wallace just wasn't on the spot he needed to be. If you key on him, he stuttered in front on the DB and then stumbled on his own stutter, that's why he wasn't where he was supposed to be. Looked like the offense called for one play, but Wallace was doing his own thing.
Down the sideline? Tannehill lead him back to the middle of the field. It doesn't matter what Wallace did. Take Wallace out of the equation. Ive already said he could have adjusted. Even if it had been a TD it was STILL a poor throw.
holding a very good offense in dallas to 6 points with romo under 100 yards is a damn good job, the offense better get their **** together
Yes, it gives the illusion of a poor throw, because the WR tripped over his own feet and couldn't find the ball. I guess you are right. My bad. And what I meant by down the sideline, because that's where wallace was lined up. That's all I was referring to there.
Moreno, ironically, was the sharpest looking guy tonight. Lamar Miller drops a screen that almost went catastrophic. Hartline drops a 3rd down conversion. Sims fumbles in cowboy territory. I think Tannehill looked fine. Oline looked solid. Skill guys didn't come to play tonight it seems. Gotta be a lot sharper than that.
It seems like if any team lines up for a 50+ yard field goal against us, it's money. I don't know if it's just me being biased, but, it sure seems like it.
Not disappointed with the offense. Greatly improved from last year. Trying to run inside the ten and the fumble cost us momentum and possibly two TDs. I'm not looking at the score though, Im looking at the level of play compared to last season and it is much better.
Yeh..some bad mistakes..the fumble..Hartlines drop..cover up what otherwise was a good offensive showing
It's all good...there were some boo-boos there that don't happen often, it's not a trend. They owned the first half, as they should've on O, but that run game was a VERY nice surprise. The D is still bend-don't-break.
You really are stoned. Listening to Irvin, Laufenberg and the other idiot is NEVER a blessing, unless someone is a Cowboys fan.
I mean, we saw more physicality out of a few runs by Moreno than our ENTIRE squad of running backs in the past few years.
This has to a be joke? Where is the 'dislike' button. Take away every fumble and dropped pass and this is a disgusting blow out.
Huh..whats Lazors offense got to do with Sims fumblr and Hatlines drop..players still gotta play..doesnt matter whos calling what plays
I agree with your assessment, we will be a better team this year, I just really want them to beat N.E IN WEEK 1. I hope the D can hold Mr. BraNdy and company in check.
Not sure how you came to that conclusion honestly. We moved the ball extremely well more often than last season. Lazor can't help it if Wallace/Tannehill don't connect or if Sims fumbles. Aside from that after the first couple series he dialed back, its very obvious based on the amount of motion and diversity in the first few drives compared to the ones after. He isn't going to throw the whole playbook out there because NE will eat it up.
Just tell them you made a mistake and you're sorry and would like your money back, please. I'm sure they'll be fine with it.
Positives: Moreno and starting OL blocking. Moreno is the best back we've had since Ricky. He is unbelievable. The starting OL looked good. Starting D looked much better. Negatives: RT, he was horrible, Lobato like, uneasy, uncertain, inaccurate, awful. Coyle. When he decides to blitz, he just does not know when to stop, he'll dpo it all the time, and get burned. Wheeler, more horrible than right.
It's amazing how a guy that teams around the league don't really like (Knowshon Moreno) comes here and looks immediately better than what we've been dealing with at the RB position for years (excluding Reggie Bush). In Barry Jackson's latest I think he gets some opinions around the league about guys like Knowshon and they said something like I don't really like him but he's better than what they got. That looked pretty accurate.
Also, 2nd drive, we don't run the ball on 2nd and 12 in the redzone in a regular season game. I really felt that was "lets see how the running game does here" call and not concerning themselves with scoring specifically.
