Wouldn;t say VERY good, but yes, respectable and our D is REALLY showing up! I am very pleasantly surprised. But I want to see some deep throws by Dallas to assess our safeties who need practice! BOth are new to the team (Assuming Jones is not playing tonight)
dropped ball to middle vs wheeler, missed dumpoff pass tackle by wheeler and a couple others I have to go back to give specifics on.
Well on that FG drive it seemed like they dialed it back in the redzone, then Dion Sims fumbled what could have possibly been another TD or FG. It could very easily be 14 points on the board right now. Not disappointed really.
tanny needs to settle down, it looks like that unit in front of him can pass block, he's probably shocked by now
I'm not happy right now, considering how good N.E. looked yesterday, I expected a better showing from Tanny.
Agree... but is there enough chemistry there to trust Dion will make that route adjustment or does he only do exactly what's expected and if the ball isn't there where and when he is supposed to get it, can Tanny and he improvise well? I guess not on that play. Also, why the late throw?
I certainly expected a TD by now. I mean, if we are all excited about Chip Kelly's influence being brought to town.
Like I said it's obvious they dialed back the offense to try and run the ball inside the ten. Also you cant blame anyone except Sims for his fumble. The offense has looked fine.
I thought we'd see more scoring too, but I'm not concerned. That WAS a bad decision/throw by Tanny tho. It's all still vanilla pre-season, dress rehearsal or not. He's looked, overall, much better than last pre-season.
