haha being a rockstar anywhere still makes you a rockstar. I did research in college. I would still do it if I could. Hard field to go into without being academic though.

 

Hung my first ceiling fan yesterday.

You joke, but my mobile is only a year old but horribly constructed. For example, see the screws in this celling fan box?



They were in upside down. Meaning the top of the screw was on top of the box where you couldn't get to them. The box was sealed into the ceiling so I couldn't just take them out. Those are the screws that hold up the fan, so I had to cut them out with a Dremel. Didn't have a Dremel, so I had to buy one. Then threads in the box weren't holding the screws right (wallared out like McLovin's mom) so I had to get lock nuts. Which was all well and good except they were hard to hold to tighten with a wrench when the bracket was in place.

One of the many effs up by this company.

 

Installed a few of those. Major pain on the *** to do it by yourself, or even worse doing it with your wife
