That depends if Loria would be willing to dust off his checkbook again.

Nolasco + JJ + Olsen + whoever can possibly step it up is plenty fine for the playoffs, assuming JJ comes all the way back. Aside from one inning last night he looked SICK though.

Can't wait to see Volstadt make his first start tonight.

... And as soon as I say it, the Dodgers get an RBI single. Here comes Kevin Gregg. Needs just one out to win.

don't agree with taking volstad out with 2 outs in the 9th......gregg is as inconsistent as shaq at the free throw line.....gregg scares the hell outta me....volstad deserves this win!!!

Gregg's gotten back on track over the past couple of games. Hermida just saved his ***, though.

Marlins win, have a chance to sweep tomorrow.

My problem with taking Volstad out was that they weren't hitting the ball off of him well even though they scored a run.

We won anyway though, so eh.

So what do you guys think our second half rotation should look like? Personally I'm looking for something like this:

    Olsen
    Nolasco
    JJ
    Volstad/Miller
    Miller/Volstad

Olsen and Nolasco could also be flip flopped. Nolasco has more wins but much better run support, and minus the Colorado game Olsen has similar if not better numbers.

Ideally, it'd be Olsen, Nolasco, Miller, Johnson, Volstad.

And we haven't swept yet, one game left in the series.

I don't know how they actually pick guys for that game. It's pretty meaningless though IMO.

I haven't seen Maybins numbers recently, anyone know how he is doing?

Marlins had a great win last night! I can't believe I stayed up and watched it tho. How does a Major league player strike out 5 times? Andruw Jones stinks

Don't worry, if all goes well we will get to see him play for a good ten years or more.

Cam is at least a year away, but he is showing signs of being the player they traded for. He will be an awesome force in two years.

Marlins made a call to the Detroit Tigers about Pudge. Tigers are not interested in trading him, But Marlins are still looking for a catcher. This is good news that we are going to try and make a run
