The Bucs yeah but I would say Vikings are more superbowl bound than the Bucs.

From what I've read about Packers fans response to this whole situation, if they're saying that they'll let Favre back to sit on the bench behind Rodgers, then I hope GM Ted Thompson checks under the hood of his car before he starts it.:shifty:

If I were Ted Thompson and Aaron Rodgers, I'd fear for my lives right now.

Totally classless move by the organization. For everything Brett has done for them, they should at least grant him his release, giving him the right to play with whomever he wants.

They obviously think that they are Super Bowl champions in the making without him, so who cares if he was to choose Minnesota or Chicago? You think you're so good without him, than you should be able to beat him in either of those places if he chooses to go there, right?

    Morons.

    Completely disagree with you bro.

Why let him back? He pondered retirement multiple years now and finally made the decision. They have now moved on with out him and have placed Rodgers as his successor. Can you imagine how it would be if you were to bring him back? Your here telling Aaron Rodgers you have faith and confidence in him as your starter and then you bring back Favre. That completely kills the confidence that Rodgers has. You can't rely on Favre to come back every year and win you games.

You have to move on without him. Rodgers sat patiently four years for his chance and now he finally has it. To see Favre come back would be devastating. Also, Favre is disliked by half of the locker room. Would you bring him back and risk trouble in the locker room? Over a guy who is likely to play maybe a year or two tops? I think not.

This move was good because they finally get to see what Rodgers has. No they're not going to win 11 games this year and may not even make the playoffs but they will know what to build on for the future. Rodgers displayed pretty good QB skills in the Thanksgiving day game vs the Cowboys last year, when Favre got injured.

I think they made the right decision for their franchise and their future.

It comes to no surprise, some Pack fans are kinda pissed off.

"Rally held to pressure Packers to reinstate Favre

Brett Favre's fans came to his defense Sunday, rallying outside Lambeau Field to pressure the Green Bay Packers to reinstate him as the starting quarterback.

The crowd of more than 100 chanted "We want Brett," and carried signs reading, "Favre for President" or "Favre Forever." Many in the parking lot wore No. 4 jerseys, tossed footballs and grilled.

In the article, it says they're going out to Lambeau Field every week, and there's a website set up to petition the whole event." :theu:

Did anyone see Rodgers try to give the little kid an autograph and the kid refused it?

    Thats hysterical.

Less than 1/3rd of Packer fans wanted Brett to stay retired and I'd say at least 90% of those only said that because they feared he could end up in Minnesota. Now with GB refusing to release him, it looks like he will end up in the AFC, either in Baltimore or -crossing my fingers-, New York.

    Hey Brett...

Go talk to MJ, stay retired and keep the respect the world has for you. Coming back is a lose - lose for everyone involved.

If he goes to Minnesota they are my NFC favorite to go to the Super Bowl.
