I didn't say the best ever. I'm not even sure he's the best PF. But he's better then "good". He's elite. Just not on that Durant/Lebron level. He's right in the tier below.
I don't understand the hate Allen and Miller are getting, I really don't. People on Twitter calling Ray a "ring chaser" and a "sellout". When he left Boston to come play in Miami, he wasn't a ring chaser? A sell out? Cmon man, he played out his contract, he wants a ring. I hold nothing against him, and I am grateful that I was able to witness arguably the single greatest 3 point shot in NBA history.
On a different note Eric Bledsoe thinks he's worth 5/80 max extension. That's cute. I like Bledsoe probably more then most but that's crack headed. He's prob worth more then the 4/48 Phoenix offered but not by a whole lot.
Seriously...put aside the Hate you may have had for the Heat and the excitement you may have for Lebron winning in God's city. Look at this and tell me with a straight face that they get out of the second round:
My only beef is with the Heat for amnestying Miler, and a little bit with Bron for not giving shout to the fans on leaving.
I can't say there are clearly better lineups than that, it's arguable. As I said before, they will have troubles on defense. They will score.
it's the east so they get out of the second round unless they play a healthy bulls team. That's the only team I would say is decidedly better. They almost made the playoffs despite Kyrie being hurt and he and waiters bickering. Pacers lost Lance. Heat lost Lebron obviously. Knicks haven't done anything yet Charlotte? Maybe Toronto if Lowry and derozan improve? Valencianus? Wizards? Maybe if Otto Porter develops and gives them an actual SF that can ball and beal improves...
Toronto was a 48 win team and they were winning at a .651 pace once they made that big 7-player trade getting rid of Rudy Gay.
Can Lowry stay healthy? Will he play at the same level after getting his contract? Can Derozan improve or even repeat last year? Terrence Ross has to get better for them to have a legit SG. They get Amir Johnson in a contract year but I'm not sure he can be as good as last year.
Well..there you have it. If you think Chicago is better..they win the division, and thus the best Cleveland can do is the #4 seed....which means..they play Chicago in the 2nd round.
The Cavs won 33 games last year. Even if LeBron is worth 15 wins, that doesn't make them a juggernaut
I've been saying for a while he'll look a lot better playing with high basketball IQ and veteran players. He is a pure PG, he needs players to be on the same page as he is otherwise a lot of plays get lost in translation. That being said, he is shooting horribly. Rushing a lot of shots and taking a lot of bad shots. He is frustrated with his shot too, you can see it. Bullcrap, no one can make a shot. Napier has made a bunch of nice plays and people can't make a shot to save their lives.
LeBron himself downplayed expectations for the first couple of years. That's really all you need to know about the current Cavs roster.
Your a bright guy, so when you make statements pretending like Cleveland isn't already "one of the top teams in the east" it makes me wonder how much you truly follow basketball. I'll repeat this again, A LESS DEVELOPED LEBRON WITH A TEAM SURROUNDING HIM THAT HAD NO WHERE NEAR A KYRIE IRVING, LED THE CAVS TO 66 WINS. Now a better Bron with a better supporting cast isn't a top team in the East?? Can you please attempt to explain why? I mean, if you want to say they won't win the East then ok....many variables and a lil luck will tell that story, but not a top team in the east!?!?!?! Is this real life?
Come on. I get you don't like Napier, but you can't honestly say you want the Heat's first round pick to miss out on a chance to get better because you want the Heat summer league team to get a win can you?
You were replying to a post about Lebron downplaying the expectations for the Cavs. That certainly implies that Lebron may think exactly that.
Question: Why does Chicago think Wade wants to go there? I mean this video is clear video evidence of how much he loves the Heat and hates the Bulls.
Jibberish.... Cavs will certainly be a top team in the east. Your agendas are getting the better of your logic.
Really underrating that 66 wins Cavs team. They had a lot of size and were good defending and rebounding. Almost like the Bulls with Lebron instead of Rose. They just had the same problem the Bulls often had, which is a lack of second reliable scoring option for the playoffs. This Cavs team now is nowhere near as big, and most definitely nowhere near as good defensively as that team. They might struggle to stop other teams.
LOL!. SPO and Phil Jackson shooting the **** at Summer League. They looked like they were having a great time huh?
You can't judge him off of summer league. The ROY and the runner up from last year sucked in SL as well.
Leaving aside the Heat, that Cavs team loses in the postseason to any of the Bulls, Raptors, Wizards, Knicks, Nets, and maybe Charlotte. Inexperience. And with Miller probably taking up to 30 MPG trying to win regular-season games, he'll be hamburger by May and he'll have pushed Wiggins'/Bennet's learning time into next season.
Sig has two things I like a lot....Lebron and Ohio. I generally despise Cleveland fans in any sport, they generally are babbling goofballs (especially football) but people in this state have a lot of pride in this state...respect he made the right choice. Plus if I found myself rooting for Miami many times the past few year so being happy for the Cavs isn't all that bad. O...H!!!!! I.....O!!!!!
It's not my agenda or logic. I'm going off of what the man said. Logic should tell you that if someone says something, they usually feel that way.
