Varejao is better than Oden even if both are on a roster (notice I did not say more talented).

I don't see Miller starting. It'll either be Waiters or Wiggins IMO.

Varejao is a better rebounder, McRoberts is a better passer who stretches the floor more.

I've never had a high opinion of Varejao. Whenever I see him play, I don't know what it is, I must just always catch him on a bad day. It's like Kendrick Perkins.

Varejao has to guard McRoberts three game, so his rebounding is going to go down.

He is a very good rebounder and he HAD good feet for defense. Injuries robbed him of his lateral quickness and now he is a specialist rebounder, garbage point picker.

Deng has proven he can guard Lebron, so that makes me feel better, Lebron won't be able to dominate him as he would with others not named Jimmy Butler and Leonard.

Lol. I chuckle at Perkins. Then shake my head. Like, how does this guy still have a job? How does he start?!

He was good until Wade dunked on him which caused him to fade away.

Curious...do you think they can get the 2 seed with Wade sitting out one out of every three games or so like he did last year?

I'd say no, but it would probably be Chicago and maybe even Toronto that jumped us in that scenario.

Also I dont think he misses as much time. He admittedly could have and wanted to play more, and now he also doesn't have the luxury.

Rush won't score us D Wade points but his perimeter defense is nice, also if James Ennis can step it up when Wade is out then we will be fine.

I really want Beasley to come back to take over for Wade on the offense during the regular season, he has more to show than JJ.

If we don't get Boozer we could possibly bring Beasley back for the minimum. Not sure anyone else in the league wants to take a risk on him.

Technically yes but I think that's too many big men to carry unless you want Beasley at SF and Ennis/Granger at SG

My question is more along the lines who would be the best DW substitute/insurance policy?

Whoever it is more than likely will see a lot of minutes, especially earlier in the season.

Beasley in my opinion, his age is what makes it much more attractive.

:dunno: I'd tend to agree, the FO knows him much better than we know him, do think Riley has a soft spot for him

I think I know what happened, when Lebron, Bosh, and Wade went to that restaurant in Miami, Lebron probably said so guys I'm going to Cleveland and I want you two to come with me so how about it? Wade and Bosh looked at each other and laughed really hard which was mistaken for them all having a good time which is why people thought they were all coming back.

With a young LeBron made playoff runs including a finals appearance with a much weaker supporting cast that he has now... So naturally the butthurt is kicking in for Heat fans and a much better LeBron with a much better supporting cast will be a 4 seed and lose in the second round.

Am I the only on that thinks this is a tad ridiculous? ?

Shocked Lance was had that cheap though, at first glance.

Who's the SG for the Pacers? They lost Lance and Turner. Hill and Watson did not cut it at PG last year. What is their guard situation?

I like the signing by the Hornets. Might be worth watching them now.
