Yep...not "I'm sorry for what I said in the letter, I know it must have really hurt you" but "Lebron....that letter I wrote REALLY hurt me."
I have read it before, you just obviously fail to understand what calling someone a slave owner actually implies, and how ridiculous it is to say.
What ever you say buddy, my opinion of what an ignorant person Dan Sterling uh I mean Gilbert really is.
Top Flight Franchise. That's how we do in Wade county. Nobody writes angry letters here in comic sans.
Gave us 110% for the better part of 4 years (arguably 5, given how many additional playoff games they played). We'd damn well better. It'll be tough, but we'd better.
We still have room for any ccombination of 2 players out of ariza, deng, monroe, and gasol. We can probably still add jameer nelson or morrow
It hurt him for the entirety of 4 years, enough to leave it up that long, huh? That must be some hurt.
If Durant is ring less in 2016, Pat Riley should get Wade and Bosh to dump their rings on the table during a meeting with Durant.
I wouldn't cheer his baskets, that'd be pathetic. Give him a standing ovation the first time he comes to the AAA and cheer when he is announced the subsequent games. But never cheer his baskets. That's reserved for Heat players only.
I think we should all still respect Lebron for what he did....but this isn't MJ coming back to Chicago. I'm all for his one ovation when he returns, and I'm all for Lebron the person having a happy life....I just hope Lebron the basketball player realizes he made a mistake someday.
Not baskets. I was objecting to booing baskets. Doesn't accomplish anything after the ball went in the hoop.
I don't mean all of them. Just the first one It's possible to respect what he did, like him as a person but realize....hey this guy abandoned us and we disapprove of that. Acknowledge both sides I guess.
Hindsight....but do you think the fans booing the team in the finals had any impact on his decision making? Speculation obviously but I can see how it could.
Anyways in Knicks land, THJR is developing very well...once we get Gasol and Love in 15 and Durant in 16??? It's over
Nah. The more I think on how things developed, I think this decision by Lebron was a long time coming. He is not the King of the city and franchise down here like he is in Cleveland. Seems he really missed being the ruler of a small kingdom. He got his rings, now he can go back to being the owner of Cleveland.
**** that. I hope he's miserable. I hope he wakes up every day to the ****ty weather in that rundown ****hole, and drives around and the comparisons start in the back of his mind but slowly they creep up until they're right in front of him, that he lives and works in a ****hole for people in a ****hole with one of the lowest cumulative IQs in the country, and he can't find a decent restaurant that doesn't smother his food in cheese and his wife leaves him and moves back to Miami and he ****ing hates it so much that one day he fires his asswipe cronies and comes back begging Pat Riley for another chance. And Pat Riley listens, stands up, unzips and pulls out his **** and pisses on LeBron's shoes.
Well I won't go that far. I do think his friends had a huge impact on his decision. WHich is sad because if Wade was okay with Lebron following his heart....Wade might be the best damn friend he has.
Not to leave for no good reason? If he wants to help Ohio he can do it with his money far more than he ever can putting a ball through a hoop. Again it has nothing to do with Lebron the person. It's about Lebron the basketball player.
Just remembered, Yesterday I accidentally broke a mirror for the first time in my life. Next day? LeBron leaves. Coincidence? I think not. Totally my fault guys. My bad. Either way at least he'll probably come back in 7 years.
Nope, anything remotely involving piss and ***holes is strictly in SICK's and/or Nabo's neck of the woods.
Called the cops on you, you committed treason against the Miami Heat, your sentence is mediocrity from the Dolphins for another 200 years.
I think losing the finals, after almost coming up short last year, brings to light all the negative things that the winning suppressed. Then you look at the depleted roster due to contract planning and signings. Unreliability of Wade, maybe. The pressure cooker that is Miami, under constant scrutiny for 4 years to win every year. there is certainly some truth to the fact that organizationally Wade will always rank higher. the man made a decision to his benefit after weighing all of it. his letter explains it and also Section's post several pages back.
How about not leaving a potentially historic dynasty for a garbage organization and not leaving the team that shook off his monkeys with dick in hand. Not even a sign and trade. **** LeBron I'm burning jerseys.
Lets just be historic without him now. If this is what he wants....good for him. I just don't see how he can forgive Gilbert so easily, especially if he said those horrible corny things in person. I actually believe when Section says this had a lot more to do with Lebrons posse than anything.
I know this is my third mention of the type today but: Spoiler I really hope the terms of his commitment to Gilbert are written fully in blue Comic Sans.
Don't worry Dolphin fans, you still have the....f*** Seriously though, we will be fine down in Miami. Let's let FA play out before we decide we are doomed. Still have Wade/Bosh and some good names floating out there with cap space.
