Soooo what's the new narrative going to be? Lebron had an unbelievable change of heart at the 11th hour?

It will have to be lest they report the actual truth. Of course that would also have to have a "thanks for your clicks, views, follows and ad revenue" sidebar.

Again...not meeting with anyone else PLUS waiting all this time to me suggests he's coming back to Miami along with a few unforeseen additions via FA or S&T, potentially something big (Melo?) cooking.

Broussard now reporting that the Gilbert letter is still a huge issue for LeBron and is the major holdup.

I'm now convinced that this is some Count of Monte Cristo "revenge best served cold" thing. I think LBJ wanted to make the guy beg, make him trade guys, and then say no.

It's the ultimate revenge, and the only way for LeBron to get him back.

Also, on the Ticket, Ethan is speculating, borderline suggesting, that Dwyane Wade is Chris Sheridan's source and that he is completely screwing with him. Apparently, Wade favorited a few tweets regarding Sheridan leaving LeBron off the All NBA team and since Sheridan is claiming his source is somebody nobody else has, with details of the Wade/LBJ dinner, is making him wonder.

Ethan continuing to play Twitter detective on 790.

Apparently Micky Arison favorited a Ken Berger column on 'Melo to Miami salary cap math and then unfavorited it last night..........

Micky has also favorited Broussard's tweet about Cleveland no longer having an 85% chance

I'm really looking forward to watching Ennis and Napier play. Last we lacked support players who could fill it up (outside of Beasley who was a huge defensive liability). I think Napier will take a while to develop though.

    So I'm speculating here.

If we are operating as a capped team and they haven't officially signed....there has to be a reason beyond Lebron. Something else HAS to be happening sign and trade wise.

His shot is really off right now but it doesn't worry me because that is his strength. Shooters go into dry spells.

I've been encouraged by his passing ability when he penetrates which was supposed to be his weak spot.

For me it's that he struggles to adjust his game to what the D is doing or what he's doing/not doing well. When his shot is on, he is unstoppable, but when it isn't he can't or won't adjust his game. That knowledge and variety in his game is what I think will take time. I believe he has the physical skills and the personality to do so, but it won't happen overnight.

IMO Napier will be better with better players around him. Seems like the typical player that feeds from the talent of his surrounding cast. No wonder he has connected really well with both Hamilton and Ennis, who are the most talented/pro ready players in that Heat summer league team.
He'll be better with the Heat roster.

This. Exactly. In that last Summer League game he definitely reminded me of Lance Stephenson. He's willing to get right in someone's face on defense like Stephenson, but like Stephenson he can also break down on defense especially while trying to chase a guy around. He's streaky like Stephenson but flat out dangerous when he's on.

You see that Dr. J move to the basket, high-flying with the ball way out?

This kid's a stud. What a draft pick that is turning out to be. All credit to Section126 for seeing it immediately.
