It MIGHT have helped. Moving the pocket would have helped more.

Yes we finished on a bad note. But I'd think for someone who puts a lot of stock into the emotional aspect of the game, you'd appreciate the circumstances the team played under. Emotionally our team overcame the scandal, a losing streak, and the Pats before we faced Buffalo who we didn't match up well with (we simply did not have the players that could attack Buffalos weaknesses). All that combined crushed our hopes against the Jets. The team was emotionally spent.

Yes, I do think he shows compassion. I think we all mistake his on camera personality for how he always is. Would the man everyone thinks he is, dance a jig for the players before the locker room speech after a victory?

Helped the Seahawks with their terrible line.

Yea, Sherman moved Tannehill in the pocket at A&M, didn't under Philbin.

Are you implying Philbin ordered Sherman to not run AND not move the pocket?

Philbin already admitted to ordering the first part.

The only hope I have left in this dept is that the constriction to the pocket under all circumstances was done on purpose with the long term success of the Qb in mind..a kind of inside out approach so that certain skills must be engrained before the full skillset can be optimally taken advantage of.
